That is where it doesn't make sense. You're coming from the perspective that there is some crazy demand for this battle because Roc said he wants to battle him, when Roc wants to battle any/everyone.

Besides, you can accomplish all of this without putting Rum Nitty on NOME, and having he and Roc battle on some other non-SM, non-NOME card.

Not because Roc wants to battle him, because he put on vs Ave and the GunBarKing title is on the line.
Just like there is a demand for Ave because he put on vs Mike P
Just like Top had a demand because he put on during UFF

All showcases on URL, not no low level league.
Check the radio shows, nikkas are talkin about Ave.
Even if he lost to Nitty his performance raised his stock.

The battle makes sense because of the Gun Bar King Title.
Just like Con vs Magic for the PunchLineKing title made sense right after Chilla vs Magic.

nikkas on here all see the battle makes sense for the title, how come you don't see it?

And you can't say only nikkas on message boards see it.
You got nikkas on the radio shows talking about the battle.
You got Roc ON RECORD sayin he wants to battle that nikka for the GunBarKing title, not no random competitive "yeah.. I wanna battle him" shyt.

I can't help but to read that last few sentences as "all he had to do was be better in every way."

Because people buy into the small room vs big room thing too much. If Law spits the bars he spat vs Sno, he would've woke that crowd right back up. His shyt was just flat, so was Chilla's and Tez's.

Hollow won that battle with what bars? I understand Hollow is somehow a god on this forum but what did he do to beat Surf? Because the only reason I've ever heard is because "urn and ash" isn't "Nash". Hollow was complete trash in that battle, Surf CLEARLY beat him on the performance angle, and his bars were better than Hollow's, and his freestyles/rebuttals (one of Hollow's calling cards) were better than Nigel's that night as well.

Surf spit the worst 3 rounds in URL history in that battle, come on now.

Not saying he should be the biggest hype out, but he's been showing out. Check his Steams battle too. Not everyone here thinks it was a crazy performance, but some do (me included).

Hopefully Nitty doesn't just flame out, but it wouldn't surprise me. It's battlerap.. and dude often expend their best rounds in order to just GET the opportunity.

He had some forgettable showings before his current run. He's consistent, but if he was consistently the way he's been in late 2015/2016, we would have had all these conversations a long, long time ago.

And even if he outbars Roc, you know damn well that might not be enough.
