I don't like this battle for Brizz. I feel stylistically, believable performers beat animated performers.
There's a reason why Hitman, a great animated performer, loses to guys in that lane (Rex, Cal). That street shyt just overwhelms that animated shyt.
I would rather see both guys go in a different direction.
Who would yall like to see Brizz against?

Ain't clicked on it but I'm assuming it's suge since I keep hearing it. I think that's a good battle. Brizz and prep for the lols. Brizz and chess has always interested me too. I don't wanna see him up against too many top tier names just yet he's still perfecting his style on stage. The DNA battle was a big leap for him imo.

Well I'm from Chicago and from my group of dudes who saw that smack dvd, they felt mook won, but part of me always felt that was just the direction of that battle, mook had a classic 3rd rd, then the "back to regularly scheduled programming" had everybody like
then the battle fading out with mook screaming "easy!!" Might have psyched many into believing mook won. I literally had no one tell me serious won. Now I'm hearing a lot of people saying jones won. And I didn't know it was money on the line and serious took that money.
This is def a battle that changed opinions over time.

You could argue chilla won all these battles though. The only one I could say he lost would be agaisnt magic because of the choke by chilla in the 3rd.
Breh, all of this shyt is subjective. There is no such thing as a consensus clear loss, particularly since the "consensus" is always going to be limited since it's not like all battle rap fans convene in the same spot or anything. If a battle is a clear win or loss in your opinion then that just is what it is.
I've learned that some of the fans up on here are 80% good with rational discussion. It's when you hit up against that preconceived notion or favoritism where you get the rug pulled out. Usually, you wouldn't be surprised because people do that in life all the time.. But on here, discussions will be rational, level, then you say something wrong about Roc/credit DNA/say daylyt has skill/say verb fell off and the weather changes quick.
Lately, clear wins only come when a dude chokes TWO rounds away and body bags are determined based on how fans like the battlers as people.
Come to think of it, the most surprising consensus I've seen in here lately is about Chilla. Everyone likes his bars but fully understand that it isn't enough to put money on.
