Lets be honest here. Lux and Mook resumes arent that great. Especially Mooks. He's got Lux, Jones and Solomon. That's it. Who else is there? And don't say fukking Jae Millz. Lux only has Mook, and Hollow (Clips post 2014 doesn't count as a formidable opponent). nikkas like Clips, Day, Ars, and Diz have battled damn near everybody (or at least all the people that are considered legit competition).
Lux n Mook are clearly better than most battlers out there...I blame most of the top battlers for not putting pressure on them more pre SM2..it wasn't till Cal called out Lux and Swag had his hands round Mook that pressure was put.
Mook got Solomon at SM2 and that was that...DNA still trying to battle Mook is laughable.
Clips - lost to Hollow and Lux. I personally would've liked him battling Mook instead of Lux
Daylyt - I like him but he's not serious..
Ars - a legend and should've battled Mook after what happened to Rex at UDUBB..too late now
Diz - one of the greats but that Rex battle ended a lot of speculation for me.
Ppl like Verb, Surf, Hitman, Calicoe even Math...instead of battling the world and losing either been more selective or forget about Mook n lux completely.,,

The active top tier guys just beat up on each other.
If they where active battlers, they would be taking wins & losses like all the other top tiers.
Now, if you where to say Lux, I can understand because he actually battles.
Mook does not battle at all & based on what we have seen on his most recent battles, he has done nothing to show he is that much better than most battler rappers out there.

It's not that he never got love.
Let's be real, he could've easily been in Steams' spot.
He woulda got all the rookies / new comers.
He wouldn't get on the main stage but the small room / mid-size rooms to get that look. That woulda been the best places for his style anyway.
He still has the delusion of being a big stage rapper which he is just not, and I like his style but that's just keepin it a buck.
KOTD will not solidify your stock to the general masses.
Look at Bigg K, he was damn near battler of the year two years in a row.
You got the bloggers and the top tiers even sayin that.
Yet the mainstream fans still tryna front on him because they're caught up in the "if it ain't on URL it don't count" stigma (which I don't agree with).

Take Chilla & Nitty, they battled all over to work on their craft and raise their stock.
But they had to come to URL to SOLIDIFY their spot, that's what they knew.
KOTD won't cement your status in the game to the general masses.
URL is the most respected league, it is what it is.
He chose the KOTD look.... then didn't get his passport in time.

Meanwhile Chilla & Rum Nitty have boosted their stock by humbling thsemselves accepting the plates URL gave them.
Neither one of those guys have to seriously consider Bad News Born as an opponent.

From my understanding, the whole passport thing was bullshyt. Apparently, he backed out once he found out who his opponent was. Bonnie was his replacement, who had ample time to prepare. KOTD just never said anything. I believe in some interview, Organik let it slip that he backed out.
