Yeah, The battlerap tree in general how you mean it is definitely bigger
Tech 9 definitely influenced Ill Will/Brizz/Young X, Etc
but they didn't influence any next generation after that directly for him to be on the Influencer Tree
That's why I didn't mention him or others that are in the same situation on it
Like Hollow & Holla influencing Chef Trez but Trez not influencing anybody yet.
The Influencer Tree will be added on with time, some are simply not there yet

nikkas said i was bugging when i said Prez and Brooklyn Carter are basically the godfathers to the new wave. Both of them inspired literally every battle rapper 2013 and on. I remember we were watching UFF in the barbershop when Prez vs Ty Law battled. When prez did his "Switchblade" line the entire barbershop went crazy like the nba finals were on.
When someone with as much clout as Mickey Factz say Prez is the one u know it's not just a fluke. He fukked up with the biting shyt but to deny his talent is crazy. Prez had "Pen" nikkas hyping him. Born and Big Kannon both said Prez is a lyrical hitman.
Cortez is in a tough spot. I do think he's better then prez but a A1 Prez can beat Cortez. Cortez is supposed to win but Prez literally has to just do what he's been doing since his return and he wins. The run since he's been back(Dre Dennis/Nunn Nunn/Moneybagz/Craig Lamar) is ridiculous. Cortez has to go above and beyond to beat prez and i don't think he views Prez as someone that he has to turn up on.

What dope angles does JC have? His only effective angle is when he's battling nobodies and tells them how much a nobodies they are. And the Chilla shyt in his second round. Besides that, he's not an angle based rapper. He's good at constructing lines towards his opponent, that's not an angle.
Please stop this narrative that angles are an automatic win

Angles aren't an auto win but they help a whole lot vs these bars only nikkas if they're well constructed. Ave spittin random shyt vs a guy with dope bars and some shyt constructed for him is almost an auto win. This is why I hate the lux/Jc shyt.
