Explain this a bit more please :patrice:
I think I know what you're referring to but :patrice:

I give Roc the 2nd off top, because that's what he's known for. So if he takes the 2nd, and has an angle in the 3rd that makes it debatable, he's good money.

Roc is a fan favorite on URL & Roc translates better in the building. I don't understand why anyone thinks he needs to try to out write Hollow, when his delivery & stage presence is generally more appealing.

Agree with this. Roc's best bet is to not try to be clever in any way at all. Just his straight forward style with that usual yelling and shyt that gets people excited. Even then, if Hollow has the right angle and momentum, he can fukk around and win 1-2.

Would Roc have a better chance going first or second? I tend to think first. He'll at least be able to get one clean round without the knowledge of whatever angle or exposal Hollow delivers. After he did that shyt he did to Clips, nobody looked at dude the same starting immediately.
It's not possible lol but the best thing that could happen for Roc is to go first in round one and second in rounds two and three. Hollow is going to go at Roc's style during that first round, and like you said about Clips, it'll probably make the crowd look at Roc differently immediately (possibly not as well, because Roc is a lot different than Clips in terms of effort, so going at his style may work but also the crowd will probably still rock with it afterwards anyway). Roc needs to set the tone in the first IMO or Hollow could just win based off of the first alone like the Clips battle. In that battle, Clips won the third easily, and was actually pretty good in the first, but Hollow going at his style made Clips' material simply not hit like it usually would. Hell, if Clips actually came with a second he could've won on a technical 2-1 level, but even if he had, I still would've looked at Hollow as a winner because of the way he made Charlie look. But Hollow's rebuttals may win him that last round if he goes last as well, if he has a good one, even though I don't expect his written material to hold up all three rounds. I think Roc wins the second regardless because that's just what he does.

What other battle other than Clips did Hollow fall off after Rd. 1? Lux, he came with it all 3 rounds. Surf, his best was his 3rd. Goodz, his best was his 2nd. Didnt watch the Pat Stay battle ill admit
I'm talking about his most recent battles, post Lux. Pat, Clips, Budden, all of those battles he wrote in descending order (can't remember if he had another battle since then, he battled Pat twice). Going back to those older battles isn't good evidence for any of these top tier battlers IMO.

His second vs Clips was dope too.
So were all 3 rounds vs goodz imo
Watched the pat stay battle once dont recall much.
This is a stretch. Part of it was good, part of it was trash (trash may be harsh, part of it just wasn't for the crowd he was performing for), and he was getting booed during it.

Of course though, I'm a lot more critical of Hollow than others are, so a lot of people may not look at it the same way. :yeshrug:

There's nothing worse than a guy that finally gets that big battle, and once he gets it, chooses to experiment and try something different rather than what got them there.

I really believe a guy can go in there, bark on Hollow, and completely overwhelm every corny thing he says, but I need someone to prove this and Roc is the perfect guy.

Hollow and Clips were both trash man. Hollow had a good first, but that is it.

Hollow was spitting some of the worst shyt I've ever heard against Buddens. If you are a recording artist going to do a "one and done" and face a top tier guy, guys like Dizaster and Hollow are the perfect guys to target. Both guys are extremely dangerous, but they are also so hit or miss, I would like my chances against them as opposed to someone like a Lux, who is gonna come with some well written material which is consistently good throughout the round.

I could barely make it through his last three battles. If I didn't watch Hollow/Clips on PPV in real time, there is no way I would have made it through the entire battle once it dropped.

I'm not even high, but for some reason I'm thinking if Twork got the right trainer he could be WWE star.
That's more lucrative than battle rap, right?
A lot of wrestling stuff has made it's way into battle rap, but Twork might be the only one that could actually make it as a wrestler lol

If done right, something as simple as Roc repeatedly mocking Hollow's voice could go over well with the crowd.

Californ-i-a by way of BK
Hollow was on PSA radio and he said one of the reasons he took the Tay Roc battle is so he's considered King of the second rounds after this battle. He said he's gonna beat Tay Roc in the second round.

He said this is only a challenge because it's on URL, he said Roc is having debatables with guys like Charron on UDubb.

Ok, I'm getting kinda hype now. Yesterday I was trying to get myself pumped for this battle, and I was thinking for me to enjoy this battle

1. The onstage tension needs to be relatively high

2. Hollow needs to make it a goal to take the second round from Roc. If he tries to do that, then we get at least one classic round in this battle.
