I feel like battle rap on the West will never get full respect. Even Posey who usually goes to the West Coast events says the atmosphere doesn't feel like real battle rap. He said the fans are mad laid back, and battle rap, at least to street nikkas, just isn't a big deal out here. And I live on the West for the last 3 years and I can tell you, I just don't think they URL West will ever get full attention here. I hope I'm wrong because there's a lot of dope battlers out here but I just think you'll never be able to replicate the feel of a NY crowd on URL.

That's the problem. See, its all about the streets when it comes to the content for the most part on URL, right? Gun bars, drug shyt, etc. Bring up shyt like KOTD or Don't Flop, fans get on some hotep shyt somewhat all of sudden (yeah yeah I know, I must work for them, no I don't, lol; this is another topic). But cot damn, bring up URL West, nikkas don't even respect it? though it is allowing that street/urban style to expand in other ways? Hell. let's look at hip hop in general when it comes to the West Coast. shyt, that needs no explanation right there. Am I lyin'? So with battle, it has to be this oddball and weird, too? C'mon bruh. That's fukking weird to me.

I was one of the main people criticizing Brizz for years. He lost every url battle he had up until Ars. But even with his losses he's proven to rock a crowd. He's earned his spot on the URL main roster.

Nitty has proven himself as well. Something these other 3 haven't done. So not sure where the comparison is coming from.

A brand is only as good as the talent they put out. The main talent from URL west is Myers and KG. Trash and More trash.

I said nothing about the rosters. You did. It does go hand in hand with the league and roster. But it feels like fans, like yourself, give it a half assed chance.

agreed, his persona does play a role in why a lot of people don't like him. Same with Serius Jones. I'm not a big fan of Danny's writing or style but he's like DNA and Young Kannon (though I actually like Kannon) in that they're really hard to beat. Danny's issue too is that, he's been on URL, in NY, twice and both times he looked underwhelming. He beat Rex but it was more Rex being bad than anything and he lost to Steams, who I think is better than most people, but he's still an under card guy on URL.

Ain't no.way danny lost to steams. Crowd was bullshytting danny hard. That's probably the best steams ever too. Danny's pen game is ridiculous. I think if y'all had to write in layers youd understand how crazy it is.

His pop culture knowledge is top 5 too. Danny is 59 years old with metal gear bars.
