He's skilled, but his style just isn't appealing. But I don't hate him, but I don't rush to his battles

Mount Rushmore isn't about who put in the most work. It's about who had the biggest influence and meant the most.

Mook and Lux are the Forefathers of this. They laid the foundation for the first and second run of URL battlers.

They have to be there.

The problem with all that is that the Mt. Rushmore discussion starts with Mook. If you want to exclude the Smack DVD era, then take Mook & Lux off. But Mook laid the foundation and influenced all these guys that we love to want to battle.

Ultimately battle rap Mt. Rushmore arguments are going to have a bunch of people with different lists AND different criteria. So it's really just something to pass the time imo, too difficult to narrow it down in a way that everyone can agree with.

without the DVD era wouldn't lux still be there off the strength of what he did for the culture on SM2, then turning around and having a top 5 all time battle with hollow, another guy on alot of people's list

Dna has a better argument to be on Mt rushmore than mook.

Consistency of work yes, but Mook is a poineer/changed the game, the catchphrase end of the round, talking to the camera mid battle and attacking someone else, travelling to other battlers cities and beating them. Mook washed the Detroit battlers so bad in Detroit, he made them change from the freestyle to having bars on deck. Both Bizarre & Quest McCody have spoke on this.

Lux & Mook are 1a/1b of the battlers that the other battlers most want to battle.

I don't even like Mook, but his spot is solidified. It's just a shame he dont want to get that in that ring, but as long as people keep mentioning his name, he'll continue to play these will I, wont I battle again games.

Lux and Mooks spots on Mt Rushmore aren't up for debate, they are the forefathers for modern day battlerap and have some of the most influential battles in the culture.

Rex belongs in there too. So does Verb.

He's the bad guy and gave some of the fav. a run for their money. Hate it or love it, JJDD hasn't choked. And runs his own shyt that is gaining traction. nikkas don't like it.

I think he’s the worst battler of all time.

That’s just my opinion. His voice is awful, weak delivery, weak bars, etc.

I have nothing positive to say about him as a battler.

We are talking about a guy that creates bad battles with everyone from Roc, verb, etc.

Stop it Mook cheated first, but someone was going to. Everyone freestyled in battle. There's still people who say it ain't a battle if it's written.

Idk how this dude who is clearly ducking gets praise or talk. He didn't duck lux cause Em wrote him the check on the spot. Coincidentally he raised his price right after it.

Would kotd even be big now without diz vs dna? But we arguing if dna belongs there?

The way the JC thing played out kinda sucks. Dude has bills to pay, so if he does this professionally then he can't just sit and wait for Lux. Things aren't looking great going into 2018 though.

I think its not so much the opponent, but how JC does. If JC has a classic or a bodybag his next battle, the hype will return.
