Serious question.

Was Aye Verb EVER more popular than DNA at any point in his career?

DNA was already a fan favorite on Grind Time, he just never fully had the respect of the Smack style fan.

Aye Verb's posturing began to fall apart once people starting really keeping track of his numbers. He's not THAT popular. He was on a pedestal because of his talent, not because people were so intrigued by "Aye Verb".

At this point, Lux vs Clips has caught up to Hitman vs Verb in views. That's crazy.

Hitman vs Con has a couple hundred thousand views MORE

Hitman vs Surf almost at 5 million

Verb isn't popping. He calls out sick on cards where he's the headliner and the battle world just keeps it moving. No one cares enough to even make an issue out of it.

Nah im not a big fan of Verb either but I cant do that to him.

Verb has been part of a few highly anticipated battles (i.e. Clips, Rex, Hitman).

Ive never seen/heard anyone getting hype to see DNA vs anybody. I guess the question depends on if we're talking URL or just overall battle rap

Just giving you guys a heads up I'll probably bring up DNA v Lux again within the next couple months.

That Lux interview still raises an eyebrow. I have never heard him talk about anyone else like he did with DNA. Pretty sure he has some words about other battle rappers he don't fukk with but his comment about DNA not not having it right just yet...I'm pretty sure it got under his skin.

Come to think about it. Rex personally doesn't like DNA and Lux didn't think he was fully developed as a battle rapper. I'm not the biggest fan of DNA but I want to his take on those, too.

Y'all been talking about the IF verb for like 6 years now. Dude has never done anything that mattered except for the Hitman battle. Generic battle bars against hollow and some corner shyt in NYC.

Well, it sounds like there something more to it than Lux was saying. Somewhat. I'm not saying that completely. But it would be dope, for the sake of the storyline, to see them get in the ring together. Makes way more sense than JC.

It doesn't really seem like there's that much more to it. Lux just doesn't think DNA's really that good.

the second point is nuts because of how much worse it is. probably a testament to Conceited's star power

I think there is some animosity there. Look at DNA coaching Clips at the beginning of Clips/Lux. DNA had a funny video mimicking Lux back in the day too.

Lux doesn't have harsh words for many battlers. He has harsh words for Aye Verb. He has harsh words for DNA. Lux somehow takes Daylyt as a serious competitor, and laughs at DNA.

The way Lux said what he said about DNA, it CAN'T just end there.

It's only crazy if you think Verb is close to as popular as some of the other guys we throw his name in the hat with.
