Swave most definitely did not get bodied. At worst he lost 2-1 but a lot of people have Swave winning.

Its honestly very debatable at this point. Replay value. I think Swave took the first or second but B Dot clearly got the third. I may need to watch it again to see who won. I had Swave 2-1 then watched it again and went with B Dot 2-1. So I dunno so far...

swave fizzled out badly in that 3rd round I hope nobody had him winning that round:huhldup:

Yeah, he apparently gave the third round to B Dot in an interview. He said he had someone that was supposed to be there to help him with his round as he stood there and gave that whole non-profit/donation angle. And dude could not make it. That might've thrown him off.

Lets see if that Banned card has any validity

And it shouldnt be all low tiers on that card neither.

I agree with the bolded 100% The only way I'll take that card seriously is if there are vets that ahve been fukking up on that card, and not a bunch of Preps and Chess'. At the very least Twork should be on there.

It's should be what PGs are to new nikkas, something you have to go through to prove yourself, only this time you're looking for redemption.

What y’all think about Verb vs Roc?

What type of Verb are we getting?

If he’s on his shyt, he should use Roc’s temper tantrum tweets where he said “Verb is the only one that understands me” against him.

I think Roc wants to beat Verb to be on some “Mook is the only Dot Mob nikka to lose to Verb” type shyt.

Listen man. You type this shyt everytime this topic comes up. BDot bit Lux's entire style. That's just what it is man. Is there enough to differentiate the two guys? Of course, but that doesn't change the fact that he's a clone, biter, and I hear the Lux in him everytime he battles. I don't care if he comes with a different approach and all that other bullshyt, he's a clone. He still needs to do more modifications to his style.

When I was watching Bdot vs EK, my sister came in the living room. You want to know what she said? Why is he trying to sound like Lux?

It's obvious man. We are so acclimated to hearing the guy now, that people just accept it.

I understand the POV you are trying to come with. One of my guilty pleasures was Tha Realest. The more you listened to the guy, you could clearly hear the differences between him & Pac. However, it still never changed the fact that he was a clone and bit the shyt out of him.

Daylyt is another guy that was influenced by the Lux. He changed his whole style after that Lux/Calicoe. The difference between him and Bdot though is although you can hear the influence, Daylyt completely developed his own style. There is a significant difference between Lux and Daylyt.

Appreciate the reply and perspective. I agree with you on the point that BDot came in and it was everyone's first thought that he sounded like Lux (referring to his battle that went mainstream viral). He also sounded like that particular population of "enlightened" black men who I'm sure we all run into (not sure if it's the Black Israelites or the Nu Covenant types, but something like that). But keeping it battlerap, yeah, you got that, and I never denied it.

Where he is now, to me, is distinct, and he has a deep enough playlist that he just sounds like BDot. No more modifications needed. @MJ Truth said that it's all about that first impression, and I get that, but I have a different expectation of the battlerap nerds in here simply because I see all of you go beyond surface and/or old information on the regular.
:salute:
