I don't remember, but what was the feeling on B. Magi vs. Tay Roc after it dropped?

I just rewatched and I'll be damn if Roc even got a round.. This might be my bars bias playing out but Roc was not convincing or clever standing up to Magic's bars.

I've always said Magic clearly got that 3-0 I remember people saying it was debatable and that I'm a Tay Roc hater if I think otherwise.

it doesn't translate well to battle rap imo.

Ya, it seemed like they were doing well taking the show on the road to different places. Wonder what made them stop. Smack too busy with his club appearances.

They stopped doing a lot of shyt that got them where they are at. It's all about nome & sm & building a 3 day weekend around those events.

Magic vs Roc was 2-1 debateable when it dropped. Both of them clearly got a round, and the third was close. I personally gave it to Tay Roc. Magic had some recycled material in his third (DNA's Draw/Ilustrate line, Surfs Hancock line), and some of his Roc name flips were garbage (the planet rock/ Lethal weapon 4 lines )

Lets say verb goes hard tryna talk down on brizz

if Brizz gets all up in his space and starts talkin that shti that nikkas wanna hear, verbs whole angle is bushes status right? How you gon talk down on a nikka and he barkin on you like YOU the lil nikka cuz lets be honest Ah Di Boom and danny were more focused on gettin their rounds off instead of making verb look bad, that's why he was able to coast on them

Math's first verse against Aye Verb is one of my favorite rounds in battle rap. I gave that battle to Verb, but that was the best round of the battle by far. The whole round was a quotable. When i first watched it, i was like what the fukk can Verb say to this? He tried to KO Verb in the first round. Verb ended up having an enjoyable round, but he still lost that first round.

Damn.. I legit thought Roc's rounds were hard to get through. In fact, I often feel that way about Roc's rounds. I guess his bars just don't have enough cleverness in them for me. Too bad... seems like nikkas go crazy when he gets aggressive. I'ma keep listening, but I'm expecting him to get full on killed by the next focused nikka he faces (not holla).

I remember thinking back in the day that Smack had clearer audio for the battle in the stash & was saving it for a DVD or special project. But nope, it was the introduction to URL's audio issues

Only round I could give Roc was the first. It was my favorite round of the battle actually. I could actually see someone giving Bmagic the first & giving him a clear 2-1/3-0 type win in a very entertaining battle.

I'm an objective guy, but I just can't see Roc taking this. He had a good showing though
