I haven't watched a lot of Surf interviews.. but I have a sort of related question.Lmfao. At this point I go into a Surf interview just waiting for him to say something amazingly douchey and pompous with a straight face. Otherwise I wouldn't watch them

Is there a general thought that Surf is corny? I saw Spud say it a few times and nigs seem to let it ride. I guess I always thought he was a solid battler (with some bad showings). Like, battling Surf seems like a good match for almost any style type, and beating Surf (focused) is a significant resume bump.
Personally Surf is one of my favs, He had a rough Patch with Clips/Cal and the Urn Ash shyt but I enjoy his battles,
even when he loses he makes it debatable to me (Again, outside of Clips/cal)
I remember there was a time period battlers was calling him Mr Debatable but I don't see it as a knock at all. nikkas for the most part be at their best against Surf lol
Spud is tbz version of master teacher. He keeps lookin st the line to super garbo tier, but he won't cross it.
Surf is one of my favorites. I feel he's the type that's hard to clearly beat

Surf is wild corny. Aside from a couple battles, he's never went off or been dope to me. Out of all the top tier nikkas, his rank baffles me the most because his body of work and skill just isn't there. Surf's rounds vs Hollow and Calicoe is Surf in a nutshell.
I cut that shyt off as soon as he used the words intricacy and my bars in the same sentence. There's nothing intricate about the dumb shyt Surf says. Jalapeños anyone?
