Naw breh, it was more than half the room and we saw those poll results, it was plenty of people who thought clips beat him simply on crowd reactions can't play stupid and act like lux didn't get out performed. I'm just a guy that has never only voted based on crowd reactions. Many people here always voted based on crowd reactions until it got to this lux battle and now it's about bars again lol lol just saying.

It didn't look like or sound like half the room to me. I'm not saying a lot of people ain't pick Clips, just saying the 3-0 thing is being overstated by people.

and I don't know about that bro. A lot of people said DNA beat Tay Roc and JC beat Tay Roc on here, a LOT (Though I think Roc won both convincingly after multiple watches). And we know how the crowd reaction was in those battles. Most people on this board, at least the ones that watch battles consistently, don't go by crowd noise. Maybe a couple.

As far a hypothetical between lux vs jc, I think it's fair to say that now since lux has been more active we can safely conclude that he has a bit of a weakness and that is he can be a little too complex lose the crowd and get out performed. I mean we standing here saying lux beat clips right after watching a entire room chant "3-0!!" For clips lol. In fairness lux has been out Performed in every battle besides calicoe and even in that battle he was out performed in the 1st rd.

Which goes to jc, who has the exact same weakness lol. He has this tendency to get out performed but unlike lux he can't get the legendary I'm from the old smack era pass that lux gets.

So it would come down to lyricism and lux would get him, but jc is a any given Sunday kinda battle rapper , and if can string along some of those haymakers he could take lux. Especially if it's not in a ny, crowd who I can now crown the worst crowd in battle rap.

So gun to my head I take lux simply on the lyricism but if Julian pulled if off I wouldn't be surprised.

I think chilla would have a better shot at beating lux and I still think verb could pull it off too.

Look he lost to k shine, then turned around and beat him in that 2 on 2, that no one talks about. He beat goodz, he beat todd, beat brizz he beat meyers, if you are going to have that kind of standards, then have it with lux too who you can argue he lost 2 straight before seeing clips who many has him losing that one too, which would make it 3 in a row. It just says that opinions are subjective and pinning 1 guy with shame for losses when everyone loses and lux got some losses is disingenuous. Gotta keep it a buck.

That's why I was crying watching calicoe beat Tay Tay in the room, should be a lesson that in that crowd anyone can get turned on even they most hyped character.

It's a throwback match-up kind of like Diz vs Dumb was. The event where Ars v Con and Hollow v Pass basically notched themselves as the top battles in GT history, those two called each other out. They were at the top of their respective lanes in battle rap and it was a match-up that got talked about a lot from the GT crowd.

i think verb and lux is dope and who else you want lux battling ? i dont see why its really an issue, we only do this shyt with lux and mook, maybe not as much with mook in here but outside in general I never see nikkaz worrying about who deserves who and all this trash except for lux and mook, like i hope nikkaz dont want roc vs lux ? if we gonna go by consistency then roc would deserve it but lux would wash roc lets be real.

verb vs brizz was fire to me, the crowd didnt want to react for whatever reason but if that shyt was in the midwest nikkaz would be saying verb is back. ok he lost to k shine but verb shouldnt be getting thrown these mid tier nikkaz like john john and shine anyway, lets see what he does with Surf cause thats a match he should care about but verb vs lux makes the most sense as lux next battle
