Tsu Surf is an actual brand. He's at a point in his career where he has a team behind the brand of Tsu Surf. Tsu Surf doesn't have time to write lyrics. He goes on radio shows, tours, makes appearances, etc. All of this is way to time consuming. For his last mixtape, he came to the studio & all the reference tracks where ready. He redid them in a couple of days & went to hang out with mega stars like Kevin Durant. For his last battle, the bars where sent to his assistant, who did a light screening. These bars passed, so she sent those bars to his main assistant. The main assistant sent the bars to Mr Surf's editor. The editor presents these bars to Surf's choreographer. The Choreographer collaborates with Mr Surf's acting coach on how to act out the material. They work on certain hand gestures for the battle. The main assistant comes to Mr Surf with a script of his new battle & schedules rehearsal time for that battle.

It's not that Surf can't write his own lyrics. This is all business. He's a marketable busy guy.

They really can. It feels like people mostly feel like battle rap should one way. Actually, its expanded some more to where you can have different formats of it. Over beats, 2 on 2s, etc. Its either that or have it the same ol 3 rounds with two rappers acapella all the damn time.

i didn't like Con's rounds that much, i mean "weren't pretty" as in an overall good showing from both of them

Its like basketball. Sometimes Anthony Davis doesn't want to play in the paint. When he plays a big guy like Mozgov he can afford to stay outside and shoot jumpers. So if I don't want to debate its not because I'm scary, it's because I'd rather shoot a jumper.

Yeah I can't see Surf having a ghostwriter like that. Especially with some of those L's he took.
