Verb, Cortez, Norbes, DNA, Goodz all said he's basically Tech 9 with more lyrics. He's 90% performance. LOL he might have 1-2 bars a battle that are really lyrical, most of it is just sadistic or funny shyt. I don't mind that, but against killer like Verb who's on spazz mode, it just wasn't enough.

People think I hate Brizz because I critique him. I just listen for bars heavily. And I'm far from a "bars over everything" person, which is why I like Brizz (Hell I liked Tech 9 too when he was good). But to me it's a clear weakness in his ability.

Brizz Rawsteen Vs. Ayeverb Recap

This is especially effective because everything Verb says is noticeable from Brizz’s first two rounds. “You took Tech 9 whole style and just spiced it/ don’t get me wrong cause’ I like it/But your weakness is your writing /and you hide it behind this hype shyt.” In his last two rounds Brizz’s highlights are mostly his performance and delivery. With a lack of hard hitting bars he resembles Tech 9 more than ever. Verb is spot on with this analysis.
