Honeslty, although some of the material didn't land in the room, lux 3 rounds vs clips were masterpieces. He literally went after everything Charles clips was about.

My point remains the same though, I'm not putting lux on this untouchable pedestal, cause that's how you get a battle that has a chance to be terrible lux vs arsonal, and then you setting lux up with guys associated with old smack which produces more mediocre to bad battles. I don't want to see lux vs dizaster or lux vs iron solomon. I want to see lux vs tay roc, lux vs jc, lux vs rum nitty, make it more about style clashing than names and senority.

Lux only battled one guy from the SMACK era and that was Mook. Every other battled he took on a top battler in the new era.

Calicoe was a top tier in the new era, especially after he washed Math
Clips is a top tier in the new era
Hollow is a top tier as well.

I don't think JC has any round better than Lux three against Hollow.

Or any better then Lux's round vs Clips. Some of the most potent rounds ever aimed at anyone.

I think he has a decent point, considering how little Lux battles. There was a lot of political shyt that went into Lux's last two matchups.

We didn't want to see him battle Mook again.

We didn't want to see him vs Charlie after Clips lost bad to Hollow.

Even if battles Goodz, that's kinda political. I don't see the fans getting behind that match-up yet.

Lux and Roc are cousins and they're never battling. Roc said it himself.

But Lux vs. Nitty would be fire. I think even Lux/JC would be a dope match

I don't think either worked up their way to that match but it would be fun battles.

I have no interest in Lux/Ars. Lux/Goodz intrigues me simply because I think Lux is the only person that can convincingly 3-0 Goodz

I agree about not wanting to see Lux vs Mook 2, and Goodz vs Lux. I don't know about the Clips joint though, because I remember the hype when that matchup was announced and folks were looking forward to it. That could just be because we wanted to see Lux again though. But I recall any backlash for Lux vs Clips.

To be honest I'd rather Lux be picky about his battles, than battle every week like Clips has. Every top tier should be like that. Clips is a clear example of what happens when you battle too much. Clips is battling Gwitty next

That's really Verb's fault.

Unfortunately, there is no one in Lux's lane that make sense right now (pen guys that perform well).

I person have no interest in Lux vs a "pen guy" only, but I'm sure I'm in the minority here. These pen guys don't attack their opponent enough for me.

I actually agree. It'd be boring without a performance. Hell, half the excitement of watching Lux is the length of time between battles, and pen dudes can be taxing after three rounds. Even the best pen dudes require I take a break somewhere in the middle just so I don't zone out. Probably has a lot to do with the crowd situation too.

Three rounds of strictly bars gets really boring after a while. Even if they're dope. You need to add other things in there.

My post wasn't trying to indict lux on who his opponents are, the guys he took, where good moves, but I'm talking going forward. Because it's only so many clips hollow mook, to go around. So going forward to stay active, I wouldn't mind seeing guys with great skills and talent begin throwing there names in the hat to face lux to get potential classics. Don't have to happen next month, might not even happen this year but it put the right battle rappers on the road to facing lux. I don't want to see lux vs serious jones simply cause jones has ties to the old smack era. This not about saying lux don't face today era battle rappers, but the guys he was supposed to face, he faced that challenge. So where does he go from that? I don't want to see lux vs rex. Lux vs head ice. Etc.
