Surf. That was crazy.
Sidenot, hitman was pretty average vs suge. nikkas like to give him credit just because he's hitman but he just wasn't that good.
I felt like his material was good but the UDubb stage didn't have enough room to get in his bag, and him and Show were going through their drama so they didn't have anything good prepared.

I felt the opposite. I thought his performance was great but his material was really empty outside of like half of the 1st.. That 2nd round was trash.

Hitman beat Suge, but the replay value isn't there.

I don't have the PPV numbers, so I have no idea what Hitman is worth to URL, or worth period. But since he just did two PPV events back to back, the people with the money should be able to figure it out.

Well, that John John one was all-time legendary lol so I won't hold him to that standard, but I personally enjoyed his opening round against Suge, even though the crowd and the edited cheering UW placed in there did fukk up some of it for me. Let me be clear though, that wasn't an "A" round by any stretch of the imagination.

Both were good at best but nothing extra ordinary. I think by now its more of a myth that Hitman has fire first rounds then it is reality. Its just that his other rounds are extra ass that it looks like he has a dope first one.

Hitman hasn't been as bad as yall are leading on, c'mon now. He beat Suge imo and that crowd was ass in general.

"When was the last time he had a first round like TODD"

nikka, when was the last time ANYONE had a first round like he did against TODD?

"When was the last time he put together 3 rounds like he did against Red"

Has ANY top-tier put together a better 3-rounds since then?

With the exception of Roc (and maybe Suge), most of these top-tiers have been trending downward in general

T-Rex might still be the biggest ticket seller on URL for live events though. NOME sold out faster than any URL card in years with Rex headlining.

Double Impact still had 300-400 tix available the day the event was going down with Hitman, Math, Verb, Goodz, Clips, K-Shine all on the card

True top tiers in general haven't been that good lately but you can somewhat attribute that to taking too many battles. Hitman took almost three years off between Surf and Suge and another 5 months between that and Double Impact and the Suge performance was decent and DI performance was mediocre.

People want that front row seat, so they can see Rex get killed/exposed again.
