Even Danny was exposed for ghostwriting for his wife. He lied about it, then ended up admitting it. So I just can't paint Danny as some type of martyr. He had his wife rapping JUST like him, and denied he had any involvement in putting her material together for at least a year and a half.
I just don't expect much integrity from these guys at this point.
For me, it's all about the presentation when they're up there on the stage. I don't know exactly how they came up with their material, but as long as they aren't stealing from other battlers I don't care that much anymore.

Oh yeah, Danny was looking crazy when that happened. She stopped, right?

Another thing on the whole integrity topic.
Although I don't care as much about the writing process anymore, I do think battle rappers should be rewarded with better opportunities for constantly putting on good performances. It's always going to be a popularity contest, but I think the Champion platform will help shed light on some people who have been showing out, but go unrecognized by the masses. An example of that is the blog they did about Cortez being on SM6. I don't think URL can get around putting him on there at this point.
It's not that they're the first people to say "Cortez should be on SM6", but their platform is structured in a way that makes it more impactful than an Angryfan rant or a 40 minute Chris Unbias blog.

I've never looked at female battlerap as a whole like male only (because by then so many had already been exposed for having ghost writers)

I can just tell who the real mc's on there are C3, O'fficial etc.
compared to the obvious fake ones (Daisy, etc)

It's Iike Nicki being exposed for having a ghostwriter, I don't condone it but I won't lose sleep over it either. Even if a Nas/Meek/Safaree would lie about it and come clean about it later.
So in that sense I don't fault Danny for denying it and coming clean about it later. It's FEMALE battlerap

The point still stands cause male battlerap and rap music, is way different to me.

Let Lux get exposed for having ghostwriters.

Or Nas and Jay get exposed for having ghostwriters, I'd have to be on suicide watch breh LOL

On another note.. I just finished watching Gwitty vs Rad B

I find it interesting that Chess is able to pull of haymakers in a battle while Gwitty clearly has a better pen than him overall.

I'm always more intrigued and impressed while Gwitty raps his rounds.
While Chess is always average with Haymakers in between his rounds

Yooo I have Gwitty v Rad B open now, I just clicked back over and saw this post.
Gwitty is FIRE when he's fully prepared. His style isn't for everybody, but he keeps me engaged while I'm trying to figure out what he's talking about.
This dude looks like a homeless man tweaking, fukk "give him a soda", give him a quarter LMAO

Gwitty is too wordplay heavy to have a lot of big haymakers imo.

Exactly, he's a very interesting battler if you like lyricism (which I know you do too)
It's a shame that fire ass haymaker Gwitty hit Dougy with got him blackballed by Norbes smh

Norbes basically called Hitman's shyt McDowell's :russ:
I guess he forgot about the consequences to some of the shyt he be sayin :sas1:

I'm a streetstar forreal, palm the steal :demonic:
He staring... :birdman:
I can punch him like Norbes.. :whoa:
For standing behind the grill :mjlol: - Gwitty

We didn't :sas2:

:scust:What battle that from? Gwitty ain't had to do that
Pretty sure it's from Gwitty v Dougy.

This longnose Goofy, brought a 50 out my clubhouse
Let a big round air/ear, like Mickey Mouse

Gwitty went off, probably Dougy's weakest performance, just too much cliche material.

:salute:
OT, I wanna see the boss(Cee Da Boss)
Get nasty,
You can't weave, bullets running..
splitting ya wig, I make the tracks meet -
Gwitty vs Dougy
I figured why not pull the file on us giving Gwitty his props before :salute:

"Aye Verb...my action understand nouns...you wont know where my PERSON PLACE THE THING" :wow:

Gwitty is pretty creative. Gwitty vs Chess is a personal classic. Gwitty vs Dougy was great too.

If Gwitty wasnt so dirty he'd be loved like Twork.

To be fair Gwitty made it difficult for himself, I feel like the attention he was getting got to his head and he was running around taking battles for a quick check.

He lost vs the best Jerry Wess we might ever see, but he bounced back vs Dougy
He had a trash battle on Black Ice that never came out, same card as Dot v Dubby Dub
He had a mediocre PG battle vs Presidential Dubz
He was half azz vs Hazey on Black Ice
He lost clearly to Sco (I always said that's a horrible match-up for him)
He had another mediocre PG with K.O. that ended up coming out on the WeGoHard channel, etc.

And let's not forget he got beat up by Brooklyn Carter, who is like a foot smaller than him. I'm hearing his showing vs Charlie Clips wasn't great, but I haven't seen the footage.

He still might get back on URL though skip to 5:15 if the video doesn't skip there already
