I see ONE reply out of the three saying Roc might lose badly, and that was from brother Ronnie lol.

One person said Roc would get "outbarred", and he arguably did. Another said Nitty's bars would be "too much" for Roc. That's not outrageous. If Nitty didn't try an angle he may have WON clearly.

How does JC fit into any of this?

Both of them were in situations where people thought they would clearly win big stage battles and both dropped the ball, i dont feel comfortable with either of em up there

Rums performance is okay but ultimately it's his pen that wins him battles, JC's pen is better and when going against other bar guys the differences are magnified, all im saying it nitty cant afford to have any reaches because this battle is gonna come down to the pen

I actually have no problem with this. Part of being the kotd champ is being exclusive to the brand from my understanding. There should be no exceptions.

It sucks that the battle may not happen, but this is one of the reasons why some guys dont pursue the chain.

It's annoying but I can't fault them for it. We SEE the push Ice has been given, KOTD put a lot of eggs in that basket. I wouldn't allow him to just go over to UDUBB and be an undercard either.

Yeah, they traditionally have done that for the KOTD champ for years. Don't see why the would change it. That Hitman/Suge battle was different so how SMACK URL went about blocking it, I didn't like. KOTD has this set in stone already contractually from way back it seems. So I dunno why Head ICE thought he could just finesse his way into doing that battle. He should look over that contract again and see what he can and can't do while having that chain.

Man I dislike Mike P's style but I can't name a dozen people who deserve it more that probably won't be on there. I can honestly name FOUR that I feel are more deserving.

Unless JC or Rum shyts the bed I'm assuming they're both on Summer Madness, so I'm leaving them out. Worst come to worst, one is on there and the other isn't. So we can say that's FIVE. Head Ice is contractually obligated to KOTD, so he won't be on there. Who is left? I'm not putting either of the Kannon's on Summer Madness before Mike P.

The thing with Mike, is he's consistent, and if you put him in the first battle of the night, you know he's going to put on a fun show. It's like booking the cruiserweights to open up a WCW PPV back in the 90's instead of a bunch of the other midcarders who won't even make the show.

Bro Mike P is extra average. He's certainly not terrible, but he's definitely forgettable and generic. I understand the importance of consistency, but we're starting to give battlers who don't choke wayyyy too much credit. I rather see O-Red stumble a few times than watch DNA go through 3 rounds seamlessly. SM aint for mid-carders, that's what Born Leagcy is for.

SM is for spectacle. People are paying a crazy amount for tickets. Live audience is the first priority. We might be fine from the comfort of our computer desks seeing someone stumble through a round that we can skip through, but a live crowd wants to get their moneys worth, and in that regard, consistency >.

URL doing PPV has the potential to sway things though. The same person who was clicking on free battles and complaining is now a potential sale.
