Chess did the Glu battle for free, paid for his own ticket and room because he had been doing so bad. I respect that. He's still hungry. I haven't seen the battle so I don't know how good or bad he did, just heard he choked and clean all the way through.

Ehhh, I don't care. If it's for free, then it hurts literally nobody. It's an exhibition to get his shyt together. If URL was paying for his battles, sure, but he's not taking anyone's spot because they literally weren't even gonna book it, he asked for it. So I don't see any issues with it. I know everybody has jumped on the Chess hate bandwagon, but even though I clown him for choking and fukking up, I don't dislike him and I'm not gonna act like he's not entertaining to me anymore.

Now if he gets booked for a big card or gets a big opponent over someone deserving then I'm flaming him and URL. But for this? Nah.

to me, this is the equivalent of a player being bad in NBA/NFL and then coming back as a bench player at league minimum to prove himself again. I have no problem with it.

I disagree. I don't think he's lazy, and I don't think it's because he's not hungry or that he doesn't care. It's clear (to me at least) that all of that choking is in his head and he's just lost complete confidence in himself and his abilities.

Hell better yet he uh millennial lil nikka...he know technology... get a 4 man video conference and ask them all "How do I stop fukkin up....show me the way..."

Chess ain't even gotta do all of that. He needs to get away from battle rap completely for a little bit, get out into the real world, and start getting some wins in life. Then come back to battle rap with a new/different confidence. He needs to go out and pull some decent chicks (not these NY hoodrats he's probably used to). He probably needs to learn some new stuff, maybe improve his jump shot if he's a hooper or something. Just get some little life victories, improve your confidence, and then come back in 2019 strong. Maybe even make a mixtape while he's out of it, experience some different parts of life, take a trip or something. And after a year sitting out people will have even forgot about his chokes and there will be an anticipation built up about him.

He won't be doing any of that shyt though so that was a waste of my thoughts.
