Lux sacrificed his flow for content

He didn't sacrifice anything imo. His flow will NEVER be as good as Black Thought. He will have to live with it, just like every other MC on the planet.

But as dope as Thought is, sometimes I need a little more kick. Lux's freestyle can get me out of bed in the morning.

Both are amazing though, regardless of which you prefer.

nikkaz actually did this when Clips vs Lux dropped

nikkaz in the Booth actually said the same thing comparing Kendrick to Drake. Cats was in there saying Drake has more quotables than Kendrick so that’s what makes him better

I could easily pull up the lyrics from Thoughts freestyle and pick a gang of hot shyt out

We out here sayin Lux’ shyt was more POTENT than Black Thought AND had more quotable moments on top of that.

It was a few people that did they thing on Flex....Just because you rap longer don't mean nothin. Thought as a writer & performer has never possessed that "It" factor to create quoteable material. That means off the top of ya head as a listener, you remember what was said....it's stuck in your brain, cemented.....you ain't gotta re-watch. It's no knock to Thought at all though. Lux just has that extra natural skill. BT still one of most underrated MCs/Lyricists to ever pick up a pen regardless.

I agree. Overall Black Thought was rapping perfection. But Lux had line after line after line of quotables. Lux's delivery obviously isn't everyone's cup of tea....... but fukk tea. It's Loaded Lux.

Yeah, Black Thought was dope, but Lux had me like almost after every bar. "I'll bake him for this cake, I'll betty crocker his/bet he a crock of shyt." "fukk a friend pal or money/pile of money, Mr. Scrooge" Like how does he come up with this shyt?

And Lux's flow on this wasn't wack at all, I'd even argue that his aggressive delivery and him switching it up made his freestyle even more potent. Lux's mannerisms in general is infectious, hence why Lux impressions in battles are haymakers
