The only downside is that Lux isn't really being direct. The freestyle is fire within the context of a funk flex freestyle. In a small room battle the freestyle would still be lethal, but we know Lux for being able to attack his opponents. I'm not even saynig Lux has to use angles or anything a lot, just more hot bars directed at JC. In the freestyle Lux only had one or two.
Nah like Juvenile said (I think it was him, to lazy to look), Surf shyt on people he has no intention of battling or doesn't respect. Cortez, Math, Danny. But people he's battling or plans on battling he always gives props to. He does it how it should be done. "he's dope but there's nothing he can do with me. I'm way more advanced then him and here's why". You don't really hear Surf say "That nikka is garbage, but I'ma battle him anyway"
Only battler I remember Surf not respecting that much prior to their battle was Conceited.
I like how Rex was talking in that interview. He didn't say it directly, but he's spearheading the movement to build the small street leagues back up since Smack lost that connection to the streets.

Rex was in Godmode that whole battle Rum Nitty vs damn near any top tier is a good battle. He has a good battle with DNA. He has a great battle with Ill Will. Another great battle with Iron Solomon. If he can have a great battle with John John, then he will get to battle anyone.

It’s not possible to have a great battle with Todd. The hitman battle was an anomaly.
I always said that Todd would be better if he just emulated Hitman every battle.
