Verb took a million battles (not just in the Pay Verb era) and looked regular in a lot of them. He has no elite aura. Legend no doubt, but I don't think we even argue this if he didn't just get Mook and Lux.

See, I gotta disagree with you; he has his off and on times but I don't think he was extra regular in that many of em. See one thing that Verb has done is go out to a lot of people's turfs and catch the fade. Win or lose, that man's resume spans of a lot of different styles of battle rappers that I don't think people can refute why he is one of the GOATs. I mean, he did battle two of the end bosses in battle rap and has been argued to have won both of those battles. So that has to count for something.
All of that counts. So does:
Losing a judged battle to Jimz. JIMZ.
Losing to DI The Hennyman (DI is good, but still)
Losses or debateables to randoms
Years of bad performances, win or not
Getting BODIED by K-Shine and Clips

I don't see him clearly beating either. Geechi is over the chokes and bad prep, and He's stage control is way better. If they aren't taking unnecessary battles (don't see how, since events are done), I have them both beating Verb, or having debateables. I think this is where JC shakes that "losing the big one" stigma. I think Verb's disrespect is going to get him jammed up.

No doubt. But he did beat Dizaster. Swave called him out and he beat him. He beat O-Red in a one rounder. I know muthafukkas on here won't care but he did beat Thesaurus who is a legend in his own right. He beat Cortez. He beat Hitman. He beat Surf. Arguably did beat Arsonal.
He clearly lose to Shine (the best version of Shine, imo) and Clips no doubt. Lost to Caustic; well, it was supposed to be Shotty but that was what it was. Lost to Illmac. Definitely Jimz and Pat Stay. I have to rewatch his DI battle but I could see that.
No god tier/GOAT contender should have those type of blemishes on their resume.

They were blemishes but he didn't fade away. He could have had a way worse career than what he has now. Trust me, Verb has fallen short in times where he shouldn't have so I won't argue with you there. But the same time, lets not act like the man hasn't made history in good ways either. Hell, I almost counted him out against Swave and welp, he showed up.
Yeah, Iast battles where I felt Thesaurus was on his A game was with Bender (rest in peace) and joint he had on iBattle with Red Flag. But that's been about it.
Well lets not forget, Verb has always said if folks show up with the check, he'll put blood in somebody's mouth tho. He may have slowed down and actually, I wish he did that Solomon battle afterwards, but still he never strayed away from what he was about.
I'm not saying Verb isn't great or a legend, but I can't get behind GOAT/elite talk.
What separates Verb from Arsonal or Clips or Surf or Roc when it comes to the GOAT discussion though? Or are all of those guys considered on the GOAT list?

Whoa. It's morning. Have some coffee first. LOL. I'm only saying in his own right just like everyone else you listed (yes even Surf; trying to slide that comment in there, I see you, lol). To me, Verb is truly a GOAT for constantly going out facing whomever wherever he could and on top of that being mostly consistent. That's not to exclude anyone else. He already has one of the most incredible moments in battle rap which was his 3rd against Hitman. His resume shows a lot. He's given shots to talent in the game now that people know; as much as you may not fukk with him, Danny Myers....and he had a dope battle against B Dot which a boost for him. Him battling Hennyman got that man looks right away. To me he has done alot of noteworthy things in battle rap. That's not to say he has the most perfect perception. Hell, every GOAT or top tier has something fukked up about them that we have known about or seen.
How many GOATs are there then?? I'm not trying to slide anyone in, I'm legit trying to figure our what separates Verb from 10 other guys including the ones I listed. You could include Hitman, Con, Pat, Diz in that list too.

That's a good question that I do not have the answer for yet. BUT you have listed names that can be considered in the GOATs category.
I take it you're not a fan of Verb like I'm not a fan of Surf like that, right?
