even if i did put swave sevah one or three slots above math, he still would get dragged by lux half way through the 2nd round



Hollow: i don't give hollow credit because he doesn't deserve it when it pertains to Smack/URL.....he only had one battle where he completely body bagged an opponent and that being big t, if you wanna count the battle with hitman holla at sm1 then cool, even though both was lackluster and neither one was really saying sh!t.....And it's not hard at all to be Goodz, that's a walk in the park for everybody in url outside of shotgun suge. More importantly outside the ring, Hollow's battle bars are horrible in a cypher and freestyles.

You need to watch the Hitman battle again. He was far more lyrical in that battle than he was against Big T. He was saying some insane shyt

whats the consensus on this battle? I know Jon Jon had a killer third round but Bill collector came back and spit a hot round, parts of it had me dying. when he said "Your momma ask me for some crack I sell her soap nikka"

I give it to JJDD but honestly its cause Bill Collector just got annoying to me, the first two rounds were kinda on both sides, JJDD had dat part in round one with the multiple choice that was cool and Bill Collector was acting all funny style but seriously after JJDD's 3rd round I was just and the entire time. It took me like an extra 15 min just to get to Bill Collector's round that by that point I really didnt even wanna pay attention to what Bill Collector had to say.

With that said I understand why people sometimes choose to go first cause if you REALLY bring the in your 3rd rd (or 1st rd if its a 1 off) you make it so nikkas dont even wanna hear the other battler. So they can be saying some decent lines but it would be falling on deaf ears at that point (another good example of this was the charlie clips v xfactor battle. Charlie clips brought so much heat that in a way I didnt even care to listen to xfactor and he was saying some hot shyt himself. Actually it even deflated xfactor, some ppl were arguing he really didnt come with it energetically.)

But to answer your question I think the consensus was JJDD

PREACH BROTHA Lux got everything you need to win a battle: bars (straight line for line, metaphors, wordplay, punchlines, entendres, complexity), aggression unlike nobody doin' it, he's animated, presence is always flat out arrogant. Funny shyt is, nikkas only focus on the 2 battles on camera (98% of the new breed still can't match his 3 rounds with miles btw) and the 106 sh!t, people don't take heed what that boy been sayin' on them cyphers and freestyles for the past few years. His battle bars is still sharp as ever. This battle shyt is a competitive sport, it ain't just about showin' ya' talent in the ring, it's the practice you put outside the ring. the only person Lux can lose to is Mook bottom line, the only people that will give him fits in the ring is a focused Yung Ill, and Big T.

The reason i said Ill is because everybody know's Ill is mr. 2nd round when it comes to this battle shyt, that's when he really turns up the pressure....he's a problem for anybody when it comes to that, he can get busy in the 3rd to.

The reason i chose Big T is simply for a battle of complexity.....no need to explain that if you know lux and t, you know they both love havin' complex bars.

Now on to your suggestions:
x-factor yes......because he's the only consistent veteran that's battling these young boys and still able talk that shyt, ma' memory slipped on x, so yeah he's one of the only two that could possibly give it to lux besides mook. i was mainly talkin' about the NEW breed.

Swave Sevah is hot ass crack.....he's like a math hoffa with glasses and ok lines....he wouldn't last the 2nd round

Charlie.....meh he not there yet......he's still hit and miss.....the only people he flat out beat is X-factor (not because he rapped for 21 minutes, he had 21 minutes of versatility it's a few things i could pinpoint but i'm not.....& Tay Rock. Both his bars and performance against Verb was over hyped at SM 1 though, and he wasn't that impressive against Big T. He's decent at best, i will say he's had a moment or two here and there.

Hollow.....i take everything i said back.......hollow would get trashed half way through the 2nd round.....i had to remember this the same hollow that battled in grindtime where it's mostly jokes over real bars.....when he was on his smack shyt he trashed big t i'll give him that, did ok with goodz, and didn't do too much against holla that had me like oh sh!t....ain't this same n!gga that got trashed by ars with a recycled verse on fight klub??.....smh stop it b. Y'all got him on a pedestal as THAT dude in url when he's just ok on his best day, if we talkin' bars.

Swave Sevah is MILES, ahead of Math.. he's actually Math on steroids..

IDK I need rewatch Big T's battles and dissect him some more but something about him doesnt do it for me. Dude be too uptight for me its like he need to loosen a lil bit. It was one battle when he was goin on some battles I think it was Charlie Clips about how he be jokin too much and Im like Id take a funny battler over the super technical punchline battler. I never really liked him in any battle.

Charlie Clips is solid as well. I didnt watch his battle vs Verb but I was convinced after his battle vs X.

Big T is crazy nice, he's just not that arrogant as other battlers making him not stand out.. but nikkas know he crazy nice with the bars
