So not only must Canelo drain himself to weigh-in at 147lbs, but:

If he wanna fight Floyd, he gonna be at 150 lbs on fight night or dont even worry about it

:scusthov:

Another jewel:

He got some extra weight, where he hit somebody and he can hurt em. We aint in the game to get hurt

:heh:

So, Canelo Alvarez must drain himself to 147 lbs and agree to a rehydration clause of 3 lbs?:rudy:

Amir Khan says his next fight is December 7th and he's moving up to 147......possibly to face Devon Alexander/

When has Sr. Matter when it comes to selecting who Floyd fights?

So, Alvarez's trainer says that Floyd wants them to come in at 147 lbs for the fight.....Floyd SR says that Alvarez has to come in at 147 lbs and weigh no more then 150 lbs on fight night in order to fight Floyd JR......and you are still questioning it?:really:

2 members of the opposing camps saying the same thing and you trying to brush it off like it doesnt mean anything breh?:rudy:

And according to SR.....he's the head trainer so his word matters. Just like Roger's did.

When has Sr. Matter when it comes to selecting who Floyd fights?

Once upon a time Floyd Sr. didn't matter but now that Roger has seemingly been given a gold watch (and the blame for Floyd getting hit so much), Sr. is Floyd's head trainer so anything he says regarding Floyd's boxing career has merit now. Or at least until he and Floyd have another falling out.

And the Canelo/Floyd talk needs to just stop because the fight is not happening any time soon if at all especially not with the weight stipulations that have been mentioned.

Again when has Sr. Had anything to do when it comes to Floyd picking fights. Him nor roger has say so. Those nikkas was talking about Paul Spad fighting Floyd for christ sakes.

Homie he trains Floyd homie. He does the strategy and the training. He does not have a say in who he fights.

Floyd Mayweather Jr.
"We choose Miguel Cotto because he's solid," Mayweather told Kellerman. "We want tough competition; he's one of the best fighters out there. I look at Miguel Cotto as an undefeated fighter because he faced Pacquiao, but Pacquiao caught him at a catch weight. He wasn't the best Miguel Cotto. He was drained. He wasn't hydrated. Antonio Margarito was a guy who was cheating. I want him to be comfortable and feel good when we meet and go into this battle."

Roger Mayweather Interview
KARCENO: Pacquiao said Cotto was a hard fight for Floyd and that he should take it serious

ROGER: "It's a hard fight for that motherfukker!, because Cotto is weighing 154lbs, you saw what Pacquiao did to him when he was drained. My nephew will walk through his ass. He will be lucky if it go six rounds, I would be surprised, If it went that long."

Floyd Mayweather Sr.
Of course Mayweather Sr. elaborated for those that may be connecting the wrong dots. "The Margarito situation was obvious and that's why Cotto whooped his ass in the rematch, and Pacquiao made the man suck down dry. Floyd fought him at 154, a weight he was undefeated at and was comfortable because he had no trouble making the weight," Sr. explained. In fact, he's convinced that if Pacquiao had fought Cotto at 154 pounds, the result would have been drastically different and he predicts Pacquiao wouldn't even be able to last 10 minutes with the naturally bigger man.

"If Pacquiao would have fought the same Cotto that my son fought, Cotto would have stopped him in 3 rounds. And the same thing goes for De La Hoya. A blind man could see that Floyd fought healthy versions of De La Hoya and Cotto and Pacquiao fought watered down and weight drained versions," Sr. added.

Jeff Mayweather
Other than that, I think Floyd put on a brilliant performance. He gave the people there monies worth. People thought he was gonna run and dance around, because if he would have danced around, like he could have, and beat Cotto and fought the way that I really wanted him to, then he would have still had the critics saying that Cotto's shot. This is the same Cotto that was drained against Manny Pacquiao. He came down to 145 pounds and had to kill himself.

So, it's all good for Cotto to come in at 154 lbs with no rehydration clause........but Alvarez has to come in at 147 lbs and cant rehydrate over 150 lbs on fight night:lupe:

I don't think anyone is saying that he is taking Haymon's job but you can't outright disregard what Sr. says now that he is back training Floyd.
It is the same way that any nonsense that Freddie Roach would say regarding any of Pacquiao's opponents or potential opponents would be given credence even though Freddie had no say in who Pac decided to fight.

this is true. he has absolutely no say so, but his opinions do matter. Floyd should not demand a rehydrate clause if Canelo comes to 147. if they fight at 154, Floyd should let him weight in at 154 but give him a rehydrate clause, I would say no more than 162

yes, LM with Haymon now. he is a decent favorite to beat Peterson...I am gonna get a piece of that. Peterson aint no 2.5 underdog against LM. fukk has LM done to prove that? unless him signing with Haymon is a sign that decisions may start going his way.

NOPE. Floyd cant have no clauses, no nothing.

He let Cotto and DLH come in at whatever they wanted too.....why cant Alvarez do the same as long as he makes the mandatory 154 lbs weight limit like they had to?

Remember, Floyd wants his opponents to be comfortable.

And Floyd will beat Canelo if they fight this year. I dont believe Canelo is overhyped and when/if Floyd beats him....I think Floyd should be given ALL the credit in the world

But only if no clauses/weight draining in the contract:ufdup:

because Cotto and DLH are not that much bigger than Floyd. Canelo is probably a bigger fighter than Martinez naturally. Its Floyd's decision, if its me, I say let him come in at 180 if he wants....he gonna be so slow he wont have a chance of landing shyt.
