Deadstream is such a fun found footage movie, with an MC who's so desperate for views that his refusal to run away actually kinda works. There are a bunch of gags that I get a kick out of, like the dude using Duct tape for everything and his goofy camera names.
The best part is how it hits all the necessary ingredients for a good found footage recipe. The MC tells us the lore of the haunted house while we get oriented to the key locations. Then things quickly shift from false scares and light fare to straight-up chaos. It’s a very similar order of operations to Asylum movies I love (Grave Encounters and Gonjiam), but this one's got Deadites and a haunted cabin...it's one step removed from Found Footage Evil Dead.
