Can one of yall knowledgeable comic vets help figure this one out? :troll:
That is the dumbest fukking thing I have read in a comic book in years.

That Shuri book was everything I hate about current Marvel
I found it peculiar how this book that is supposed to be about Shuri stepping out and being a hero/character in her own right was all about moving T'Challa off the canvas and having Shuri adopt his super-hero identity again.
The last thing a book about Shuri should be doing is making her be Black Panther.

What was the thunderbolts where punisher and elektra hooked up?

That was pretty good. Red Hulk Ross, Punisher, Elektra, Agent Venom, Deadpool..

its like the villains are ok with a piece of the xmen pie. or theres so few of them that a full out war would just leave the omegas and that would really wreck their shyt

im not suprised. mar vell is probably seen as problematic now at marvel. hopefully genis can come back soon

shes been retconned to be half kree this whole time. so the mar shyt did nothing but activate her powers.

marvel keeps trying with this character.

Keep tryna make fetch happen. At this point they need to give it a rest and move on. At least over in the X-Books, they drop their push after a while. She's been getting force fed for a decade and it ain't happen yet.

To anybody that read Hellblazer,

Is Matt Ryan's version of John Constantine spot on? Cause I get the feeling the energy is a little off.

I haven't read anything regarding the character but I pick up the vibe that character wise he's a super chill, a$$hole-slash-wisecrack. Like early claremont wolverine but take away the beserker rage, and trade mutant powers for Magic. But in the clips i've watched of the show he's manic and jokey, and It feels like there's a grunge element missing. Am I wrong on this?

The only real difference between comic Constantine and Matt ryan's portrayal is that Ryan is far less of a selfish a$$hole than the comic John is.
And there is an element of 1980s British punk culture in John's spirit that doesn't come across as much in the TV version than what we are given glimpses of in the comic book character.

I know who the comic book version of Shuri used to be but the whole point of the solo book was to try and bring the movie characterization into the comic books and establish her as a hero in her own right.
At least that was what it seemed like from all the stuff I read about the book before it came out.

I hate movie Shuri in the 616, being that she was never that character. I don't have a problem with her being her own hero, with own identity, but it shouldn't be that MCU Shuri. It should be Hudlin or at least current-Shuri growing.
