Even my mom loves Bruno Mars. Him winning was inevitable given who votes on this stuff. Kendrick did everything imaginable to win, including having the biggest album of the year by far, and still lost. I bet what hurt most was 4:44 which took urban votes that would have gone to DAMN otherwise.
End of the day he got 5, plus all the producers get a Grammy for best rap album. Daps to Alchemist.

Hov is never coming to this show again b. Trust he's not coming unless they tell him he's winning. They did that shyt to Roc Nation 2 years in a row. Had Rihanna sit up front to go 0 for 8 last year.
That was super disrespectful. To do that to Jay Z in New York. That takes some incredible balls on their part. That will not sit well in New York and you can see it in the media already. nikkas are not feeling it. The Grammys will always pick the safe album. I have no idea why people keep expecting otherwise. You can change the process to get more hip hop albums in the category all you want but the final tally is a wrap. You're not outvoting those old ass people or conseravative music fans. Grammy literally used Jay to validate their award show this year and then snubbed him. Gave him an icon award as a consolation. That shyt is crazy. At the very least he and Beyonce should have won for Family Feud. I can see why he declined to perform. He had to know.
