Love my 24-70 2.8's. I've had several over the years and they've all been superb and worth their weight in gold. What that being said, I'd gladly ditch my current RF in favor of a <24-55mm with a fixed 2.8 aperture or lower that matched its image quality (and hopefully came in a more compact package).
Have you messed with the 28-70 f2?

both, but more weddings requests pop up than anything else
Ok, so i'd suggest shooting a bunch of stuff with people in it. in my experience, a lot of photographers arent really photographers, but business people with cameras. so they will look at your creative shots and think you ass :mjlol: . Go to local free events and shoot the shyt like you're working it. add those type of shots to your portfolio along with the creative/street stuff. dont sleep on the street stuff, i've def got hired to shoot things, cuz somebody liked my street photos.

just so that u dont think i'm talking out my ass, i shoot corporate events, and have 2nd shot for weddings (hate weddings :scust: )

I can imagine behind primary for a wedding being stressful as fukk, but you hate shooting weddings even as a 2nd? why is it so bad?
too god damn long, and i dont like wearing anything close to formal attire :russ: . but weddings are just too damn long a lot of times. my cousin shoots weddings, he was the main shooter, traditional wedding type shyt. Brides are annoying AF 80% of the time :dead:
