I don't know why you need to be in your BIOS to change audio output options. you should be able to do all that in the default windows sound options, and/or the device manager. you might have fuct up something in your BIOS settings. that would explain the issues still being there after a OS change. see if there's an option to set the BIOS back to the default settings

It's kind of hard to fukk up the audio settings In bios when there's only like 3 options to change it. With that said, I already reset my bios settings to default and still nothing. Only thing that changed was my audio through my monitor works but that's because it's hooked up to my gpu. I think it might be a hard ware issue. I talked to Microsoft and after they took control of my computer they said that the audio should of worked after a fresh install and all my drivers were up to date. :francis:

fukking sucks cuz the main reason I got this mother board a year ago was because my old gigabyte MB I had was shyt out from the box and the on board audio didn't work from the start. Had to buy a sound card cuz I wasn't gonna wait four weeks after barely just receiving it. I tossed that cheap sound card in the trash when I made this new build and now this audio is fukked up.

Man fukk Asus and gigabyte :camby:

I fixed the flickering in Blops 3 by editing the config.ini file, but it introduced artifacting after about 2 hours of playing :mjcry:

I'm trying to reproduce the artifacting in Heaven, but no luck. Maybe the game is just bugged. Still gotta try one gpu at a time still :sadcam:

Fallout 4 is giving me problems too. It's just that they come quicker with Blops 3, so that's why I've been focusing on it first. Plus, there have been fixes for Blops 3, which I've been trying. I wanted to see if I could fix Blops 3, and then I would know it's not my cards. Then I was going to move onto Fallout 4 (but only one other person on steam has the same problem as me). No other games give me trouble, so I'm :mindblown:

I haven't really had time to test each card separately. But that's the next thing to do (probably tomorrow). If I could just get it to artifact in one other game, I'll know one of my cards is going bad, but so far no luck. Just Blops 3 and Fallout 4

what are your thoughts on DX11 vs DX12?
i'm still using Windows 7 and will be for the foreseeable future so DX12 is something i have to look forward to whenever i upgrade.
at the moment there's only a handful of dx12 games

I was using my HTPC as my gaming PC, but i'm looking to build a separate gaming PC. I'm pulling the GTX 980 from it, so i'll need to buy everything else. Is it worth getting an i7 processor at this point?

I would say so, yes. More and more games are recommending them. Supposedly fallout 4 bottlenecks with an i5 even.
