I always considered Preditor and Connan as blockbuster types, but then again, I grew up after the fact, so when I saw em they were already well established.

Lets not act like this is the Rocks movie tho. This movie woulda done numbers regardless but those numbers got push way the fukk up with the death of Walker. Still tho, its great to see him doin this in hollywood. (being apart of a good franchise, hell hes in the 3 best [out of 7 so far] in the series.)

how was I crying and hating? like I said, Im glad Rock has been able to get this type of career and not be someone who is tied just to wrestling his whole life.But you really believe if walker was alive it still woulda done these numbers? Most of the hype and anticipation for this movie came from his death.

I'm at people ignoring the fact that the 4th one was a monster success in its own right and without that movie, there would be no Luke Hobbs and no Fast Five.

And the real winner in this is Vin Diesel. He's making 2-3 times more money per Fast and Furious flick than The Rock is seeing.

It's funny because this isn't a Disney hyped franchise or something like that. I grew up with the Fast series and me and all my friends love this shyt but it really is a thrown together franchise. It's gone through a lot of changes. The smartest thing anyone ever did was turn it into an Ocean's 11 type heist type franchise surrounded with fast cars and beautiful women. I don't know if that's Justin Lin or not but cot damn that nikka did his thing in Fast Five. the original 2001 joint and Fast Five are my two favorites.

This shyt might pass Frozen and Harry Potter movies. THINK about that.
