If you hate on this success you're kind of a chick ass motherfukker
It's trolling . It's for the guys who are like ohhhhhg the rock is the biggest star ever, then Hercules snitch etc flop and it's like :patrice: it's the studios fault. Rock is smart with his choices and good at what he does and able to bring his charisma to the big screen in a way that Austin never was able too . It's just funny that we had a thread before where people were shytting on Bradley cooper , George clooney , brad Pitt to say how the rock was bigger than them . you got @R=G in here shytting on vin diesel and Paul walker to say that the series was straight to dvd even after fast and furious was a success . It's no middle ground in here so some of us troll

Journey 2 is one example of him carrying a flick and i wont keep going.

Its no coicidence that the franchise has only had increased box office numbers since he signed on.

Referring to the fact that Diesel has production credits and is banking more than The Rock. No "Fast & Furious" = no Luke Hobbs = no The Rock making Furious $

Yeah im not denying that but thats just a matter of circumstance, not like the rock was just sitting around with his thumb in his ass before that. He was the biggest draw in wrestling. He left on top.

They acting like Diesel dropping hits every week...the Rock joining put all of this over the top. Fast Five put everything over the top and Rock, Downey Jr have been the highest drawing actors since 2012.

Diesel doesn't need to drop hits weekly when he's getting Acting AND Producer money from the Furious Movies.

Again, without the success of "Fast & Furious", there's no 5th movie, which means no part for The Rock in that, and future sequels.

it's insane to think otherwise. Rock breathed a new life into the series. EVERYONE wanted to see Vin vs Rock. not saying he is the sole reason for the success, but he was a HUGE component.

also, all the posts about Rock's big successful movies being apart of ensemble cast ...:heh: it's 2015 ALL of the Blockbusters are ensemble casts. this ain't the 80s man.

Like the Rock doesn't own 3 production studios and doesn't develop shows for HBO and TNT and shyt:laugh:

Fast and Furious was broken and str8 too DVD until the Rock vs Vin Diesel hype brought it back 3 years ago. That's why the Rock is third listed in the series even though everyone was around before him...he put it over the hump into money it's NEVER seen before.

did the rock add to the series ? Yes but stop with all the bull shyt man . This is why people troll @Ed MOTHERfukkING G . How about you give him proportional credit ? He's in this one for like 10 minutes yet that's who's driving the sales not Paul walkers death and the popularity of the series and cast ? It's a group effort
