It makes me wonder why people avoid getting tested, even when it’s offered for free. I feel that the lack of testing and poor sexual/health education continues to contribute to infections being so difficult to slow down.
I prefer raw but when I worked healthcare, I always recommended a combination of both.
The Army can be a really small world at the brigade level. That angelic chick that’s so naturally pretty and educated could have smashed 3 different dudes one night, all of them thinking they were the only ones. It can also be that those three smashed three different women on base and from the local populace. Even with condoms (even though a lot of people don’t use protection with oral) there’s still a risk. I prefer to know, in case I ever do get caught slipping, so that I have a relatively small timeframe to examine when I may have caught something and who it came from.
Yea, basically almost half the population have asymptomatic herpes. That's why it's hard to test for it and doctors usually suggests against testing for it since it's practically hard to transmit it to a partner unless you have an outbreak or viral shedding. The only stigma is from actually having an STD. Look at how we always roasting Usher and NBA Youngboy.
Routine STI/STD tests don't test for herpes
I wore protection and still got it from a chick that didn't even know she had it
The doctor told me I don't even have to disclose
I haven't had any symptoms since my first outbreak but I take daily antivirals just in case. 3 different pharmacies were completely out of prescription Valtrex so I had to wait a few days to get a refill. Last time my main pharmacy was out of stock as well. How common is hsv if the medication is out of stock so often?
I disclose to all partners beforehand and the 3 chicks I'm seeing right now also have hsv2. They didn't say shyt about it until I disclosed that I have it
Stay safe out there, y'all
I have all my STD results on my phone since my doc emails them to me. My main chick also has receipts
And she got an IUD

You're proving my point. Once you examine who it came from and when, then what?

It's a skin disease so condoms don't protect against it. It's easier for a male to pass it to a female than the other way around. Did you have any symptoms at all?
Edit: nevermind, you answered that.
Regarding symptoms, I've only ever had one outbreak so far, however I get pretty bad nerve pain in random places from the waist down, but it doesn't happen often enough to negativity affect my quality of life.Yea, basically almost half the population have asymptomatic herpes. So you can pinpoint who you got it from (if you’re sleeping with several people) and then inform the others that they should probably also get tested.
Big facts on the bolded. Every female I’ve dated always got a test when they had their usual check up .nah there is no stigma to getting tested regularly. the stigma is in the behavior of NOT getting tested frequently.
when i ask a girl when the last time was she got tested and its been over a year ago, i usually lose interest.
a woman who doesnt get tested regularly usually falls under one of the following categoriess:
1. she's not financially stable enough to afford it.
2. she does not fully understand why checkups are necessary..ie. she's not educated. most likely a high school drop out. most likely has just GED, if that.
3. she doesnt really take care of herself down there (which means there's a good chance she stinks. nope, this is a nono).
4. she knows she needs to get checked but classifies the act of actually going to get tested as a great bore (its not exciting. its inconvenient)
- if she falls under this category, she's a thrill seeker.

Which does nothing to prevent you from getting whatever you got
Why not take preventative measures?
As a full fledged playa I can tell you it's women spreading this shyt.
You pull out a condom and 9/10 the chick looks at you weird like you got something.
