Jokes aside Draymond is defo one of those ‘eye test over stats’ players. Him taking over playmaking has clearly freed up Steph to be more dangerous off ball and the teams defensive chemistry looks a lot better with him. In addition he clearly sees something in Wiseman thus why he’s on his neck in game.

I will say that personally I thought he was a top 5 player during the 2019 playoffs so to him struggle to get even 10 points in a single game is some what of a shocker. It has birthed one of the GOAT nicknames though ‘triple single’ :lolbron:

Because Jason a way better player than Draymond
So you're saying that stats don't tell the whole story? :ohhh:

No one denies that Kidd is better than Draymond. That's my point. If Kidd can be #2 in the MVP vote with those stats, then it's not unreasonable that Draymond was an all-star with similar numbers.

I'm not saying Dray a bad player. He a great role player. Theirs nothing wrong with that. We all saw what happened when he led a team.

The Coli.... Where "stat nerds" are constantly ripped on yet 90% of basketball conversations revolve around ppg with zero other context.

It's like some of you know absolutely nothing about basketball other than one player's points column in the box score.
I know :russ:
all of sudden now stats are more important than eye test and the actual impact on the game!

what happened to "empty stats"?:jbhmm:

They left Dray open man. He supposed to hit them shots
That's a bullshyt narrative that makes me think people didn't even watch the series. Only 1-2 of the shots Draymond hit in that game were wide open. It was good ball movement and sometimes Draymond just making shyt happen.

And how would you explain all the games earlier in the playoffs when he was getting buckets as the #2 option alongside Klay when Steph wasn't even there?
