But last year you could hire any agent...they just added this new criteria for some reason. That’s all I’m saying.

There is a reason.

The NCAA passed a rule last year that college players can go back to school if they are undrafted. They can have an agent provide meals, lodgings, and other expenses throughout the process but if they go undrafted, they can still be eligible as long as the player-agent relationship is disclosed in writing to the NCAA and ended before they go back to school.

In maybe the most notable correction to the recruiting scandals, those agents will have the freedom to pay for meals and transportation for both players and their families, as long as those expenses are related to the agent selection process, and meals, transportation and lodging for meetings with an agent or pro team.

All player-agent relationships, however, must be in writing, disclosed to the NCAA and ended when the player comes back to school.

In the past, if a college basketball player declared for the draft, they had until 10 days after the draft combine to return to school.

Now, players can go through the draft and have the ability to return to school if they go undrafted, as long as they inform the school’s athletic director by 5 p.m. the Monday after the draft. Say Maryland’s Kevin Huerter, for example, didn’t get drafted in the first two rounds — he’d be able to play for the Terps again.

It's a more logical conclusion that the NCAA has these 3 new criteria to weed out agents who may not be able to commit to these new policies because of lack of experience or knowledge in the industry than trying to 'shut Rich Paul down'.

So they can keep fringe players from going trying to go pro too soon on a whim. The NBA age limit shyt is about to killed in a couple years and they're covering their bases.

Ok I can agree with this...I didn’t think about that part of the whole equation...

This actually makes the most sense :ehh:

Not what red font was saying.

And I wasn’t saying that they was trying to shut rich paul down.

Sports narratives a billion dollar business now...people get on tv and talk 30minutes about a cryptic tweet..

But I can agree it’s more than trying to weed out them non legit agents...

Either way it goes it’s just the NCAA doing they best to stop kids from getting paid..

i still think the establishment dnt like how rich paul and uncle Dennis turning their establishment upside down..

Uncle Dennis about to get his own rule 1000% tho
