It does not matter because most people do not care and they have the marketing dollars to fight that battle, TIdal does not. Second, Tidal is backed by celebrities with public images that can be directly attacked and their lives can be picked apart. The idea of criticizing the CEO of Interscope for his lifestyle does not exist. Consumers do not have that personal relationship with him. The very appeal of giving Tidal a chance came from the interest those celebrities generated so if you attack their character and motives it works because people actually care about who the people they support are when it is an artist. The critiques against Tidal would not, and have not worked against Apple and others. It's a brilliant smear tactic becaue instead of defending the product, they have to defend their very person hood.
What makes one 9.99 streaming service inferior to the other 9.99 streaming service? Tidal is not competing with Pandora Spotify's free tier is. How many sit downs do Jay Z, Jack White deadmau5 and the company's CFO have to have before you get all get over it? Notice how you claimed that he was equating the deaths of those people to Tidal when it was really a segue way into a different issue. Were you outraged when he compared his triumphs to the first black president being elected? Were you upset by Sean Carter Sean Bell what's the difference do tell? Were you upset when he said "this is to the memory of Deron (sp?) Henry....paying you respect I expect the same thing...when you see me..see you." If you were not upset by any of those references then why are you upset now? This is the coli where threads hating do better than threads informing. Notice how, there was no thread on Tidal's CFO sitting down with AHH, the Wallstreet Journal, no one read when I posted Jay Z at NYU, etc. Nah, you guys are quoting the fukking inquistr which no American reads to point out that Tidal is failing. At what do you realize this all looks ridiculous?
