my biggest fears is that they would get bullied on both lines, its essentially happening. beyond some ints or fumbles its hard to envision this team getting back into the game. they need a perfect half, detroit is better on both lines

It was also what they ran (Saleh) or what they had multiple years of experience with (Demeco). Saleh was our DC for 3 or 4 years. Demeco was in the system for 4 or 5 years.

It's his first year and they put shackles on him. It's very difficult for a DC to run a defense where multiple players.......it's a defense of him, but also I'm not saying I completely trust him. I just know his defenses at Carolina and Cleveland were better than this shyt when it was something he knew.

Yeah. People are just using Wilks as the scape goat. Both Ryans and Saleh was rocky the first season and got better.

Nah defense is cooked. First the offense would have to come alive (maybe could happen) but the defense isn't getting stops. We would need a big turnover to swing it.

Now we truly need at pick 6 + another turnover on Detroit's side of the ball to even have a shot

yep they look pedestrian but then they get bailed out by picks/fumbles

you can get some stops against the pass, but if you cant stop the run theres far less chance of a turnover

The thing is, what SF doesn't need right now is a long, extended drive. They need to come out and punch them in the mouth with a fast score and then send the defense out there to get a stop.

But Kyle back there designing an 8-play, 75 yard 'masterpiece' that is one incompletion from falling apart, and this ain't the time for that bullshyt.
