Nah, do you even realize the flaw in that response? The consoles are operating differently now. With your logic graphics cards and no gaming hardware on the PC won't be constantly refreshed either.

This is the path we are heading and people will have to decide if this is what they are cool with or move on.

It's only march and can't wait for E3.

I don't see the problem if we all playing on the same network. It's just like this guy playing against me running on medium graphics and I'm running on ultra.

The problem is history has shown us that a lot of the heavy hitters come out a few years into the console's life span. I agree with Phil Spencer's notion on this. Consoles should not be locked to one gen. I think a PS4 should be able to play all PS1 - PS3 games as well as some PS5 and possibly PS6 games (In lower graphics settings of course). This is a problem only seen in console gaming and it sucks.

I'm not sure what you're getting at with your comment.
Am I suggesting that consoles learn something from the PC community? Yes.
This idea that each console is an island, locked strictly to only pay with other people who own the same console is absurd and should be moved away from. Also, the idea that each console only has the ability to play games specifically made for it is absurd as well. I understand the technical aspects involved and the reasons why our current and previous consoles can't play old gen and some new gen games, but that doesn't mean that changes shouldn't be made for future consoles. Gamers should look at things a little more objectively and chill with the platform stanning. There are things each community can learn from the other. No one platform has it all figured out, but I can tell you that the PC community has been pushing things further, and faster in the right direction and Console gaming has been holding "gaming" back. [And this is coming from a person that does 90% of his gaming on consoles. I'm not stanning for PC. I'm just stating some the benefits]

I'll take my L on the Wii U. But if Sony and MS go this route, I'm just investing in PC's next gen.

just means i wont ever buy a new system...my 360 is a youtube station that i can plug a usb into and watch movies on...its a glorified vcr/dvd player...as long as that works and connects to youtube/netflix/wwenetwork i dont need anything else.
