All I know is I'm not getting shyt until my PS4 either breaks or they stop running games on it. Besides even if they do come out with the Ps4k the user base won't be as big as the O.G 4 so developers will continue to make games for it. Once that price cut for the O.G. 4 starts it will move crazy units.

Yeah, but who's that stupid to buy every new Iphone iteration every fukking year after year tho???:dahell: Its a waste of money....
I am. If you sell last year's iPhone you can get the next one at close to the subsidized price. I sold my iPhone 6 and got an iPhone 6s 128 gb for about $400.

Lots of people do...

Honestly, consoles are really the only medium where people are staying with the same technology for 5+ years.

TV's, cell phones, tablets, PC's, etc. are all things people are constantly getting newer versions of.

Tech changes so fast that I usually switch up all my tech devices every 2 years. I just paid $2500 for this TV though so I'm gonna rock with it for much longer.

If they could make it so consoles were like PCs in that if you got a newer better one in 3 or so years you could still play the same games decently I'd be all for this but that's not gonna happen. They'll target the high end and people on the lower end will have a drastically inferior experience.

It's like this either they optimize the game for the high end and the lower end suffers or they optimize for the low end and the high end doesn't get properly utilized. Game companies have shown they dgaf about their consumers as long as they can pump them dry. They'll optimize for the high end and tell you if you on't like it upgrade.

What books are you reading? :feedme:
Finishing up a book on the music business than some books about the craft and then some biographies. I'm buried in books

The most important book I'd ever recommend is Think & Grow Rich - it's the archetype of the whole "self-improvement" section
