It's not going to stop them from getting paid but it will likely regulate it.

Which needs to happen. And this has nothing to do with trump bc bump him

Rutgers should not be getting a player over OU and Texas.

Why would you sign with Rutgers and play on a crappy team where you won't win and more importantly won't develop yourself to get to the NFL. But hey you'll make a few more bucks.

Putting tens of thousands of dollars into recruiting a kid and developing him as a freshman (weight program, nutrition, coaching etc) , only to have him leave after 1 yr is pointless. It makes recruiting pointless.

That's just my opinion. Get mad if you want.

You are brainwashed. At the end of the day what's best for the young Black men that come from nothing. That is what matters.

who you think are the main ones protesting about players getting paid? :skip:

The only real schools with serious bread to pay in the SEC are the Texas schools. Their boosters give zero fukks. Bama was cool when you had to do it under the table, but now you see who got real paper and many don't like it. Lotta these schools boosters got baby money.
This 100%.

Michigan, Texas, Texas A & M, Notre Dame etc., got deeeeep pockets. Stanford with Andrew Luck coming back to manage athletics....most of the SEC ain't got that kind of money. They have the advantage of nearby talent and lots of boosters, but they're not winning a money war with the Big Dogs.

It will be challenged in court and vary by state
This. nikkas don’t understand that part tho. TN has a law on the books that says state schools don’t have to comply with an investigation nor can they be punished for their NIL deals.

Somehow, folks think these cats is making life altering money.
  • Top-tier starters (especially QBs): Can earn hundreds of thousands to over $1 million annually.
  • Mid-level starters and key contributors: Often earn $25,000–$100,000.
  • Role players or backups: Typically earn less than $10,000, or sometimes just receive free gear, meals, or local sponsorship perks.
So while the average is around $15K–$20K, the median is likely much lower, meaning most players earn less than that.
And that’s at the FBS level. So unless these youngins got the scoop on some insider trading, the vast majority are making below the poverty line

on top of scholarships(which typically would have included room and board)... right?

5-10k is still crazy for a bottom tier because that would 5-10k above what they would have made a decade ago.

That’s exactly why they didn’t want NIL in the first place and why they want to end it now :comeon:
It’s obvious why they didn’t want it but it’s not enough voices. Footballers are either the dumbest athletes ever or the biggest p*ssys ever. Even Jigga threw shade at the pros for not doing anything when Kaep gave them a golden opportunity to demand stuff :snoop:

Even MLB that’s like 5% black American does more than these fukkboys in the nf. Idk how anyone can defend these guy, damn near all of them is what a c00n is if you look in a modern dictionary. Then you have the minority in Hurts and them

I'm not brainwashed at all.

These kids are buying $80-90k cars, luxury clothing etc driving around campus. And That's great, it's their money, they can do as they freely choose.

But don't come at me like they're investing in the community. They're like any other 18yr old you put 6-7 figures in their hands

My point, as always, has NOTHING to do with any of that. Mine is related to you are ruining thr sport when only 3-4 teams can realistically out spend everyone else. If they did that in the NFL you all would complain.

Dude said you negroes shouldn’t have a choice but to go through me. Dude acting like black people would’ve been going to Oklahoma if they weren’t throwing baggies and were a plug to the league. No brother wakes up and says let me spend 4 years in Oklahoma.
My thing is why would you cry about said player going to Rutgers over OU? That player wants a bag. Get players that want to play for you. @jadillac got the same sports views as boomer white men.

What happened to the Republican party being the party of small government? The Federal Government has no business interfering with this.
Actually, on this, I'll disagree. Without Fed intervention, you're going to have 50 different state laws that actually minimize earning potential. Like I posted in a previous comment, Missouri had a law on the books stating that kids in-state could receive NIL while in HS as long as that school was in the state of Missouri. That's only one big time program in that meth filled hick town of Columbia. What if I'm the #1 recruit in the nation, family down bad and I need that money ASAP? Now I have to sign with Mizzou cause me waiting 7 months after signing day in order to collect will leave me and my family out here fukked up. Federal law would prevent that from happening because there would be a statute that applies across the board and not state by state. But it won't happen cause they'd rather not do their elected responsibilities + voters will wonder why this is a priority and not some other shyt (well those not in the southeast quadrant).
