I can't take some of you cats seriously at all, because you don't even know anything about rap.

Eazy flat out said "Ice Cube writes the rhymes that I say". People knew Dre used ghostwriters since NWA. They spoke about it openly.

What year did you fools start listening to rap? :what:

Nobody knew who the fukk QM was prior to Meek, so "Drake gave him credit on songs" is meaningless.

Besides, the problem with your entire post is you're talking about QM specifically when people were saying Drake had ghostwriters since day 1. He let hip-hop icons praise him, say he's the best of his generation, give him credit for his lyrics....and he never once said "nah, actually I had help".

If he "alluded to it" and "practically admitted it" then why call Meek a snitch? Why have 40 go on Twitter posting 30 times in a row denying it? Why avoid the question in Fader? shyt makes zero sense. You dudes want to claim everybody knew, or that it never mattered, when his camp didn't respond like that. They responded like it was the end of the world.

Fred.

When you gonna start banning drake's fakkit stans like that dude breh?

Art Barr get the fukk outta here. I fukked with Tung Twista and beyond. I didn't expose myself because you didn't like adrenaline rush Twista dude, I don't believe in your place in Chicago hip hop history like you do.

I never dissed adrenaline rush and I am actually one of the original hold a minute wait a minute now guys on the net about twista in every possible angle on the net and in real life as well.

So just stop with the whole oh, you think I am dissing twista shyt.
You are talking about a time in the culture when you were not there and I know so.
Or you would be the guy who actually put your accounts of what occurred out there as well.
When you are not that guy known, for talking indepthly about this culturally and from a business standpoint in rap.
I am the guy who spoke on all the angles of twista as an artist..from the real life accounts of twista to even verbatim disses of call in when d to tha s, also helped twista put treach out to pasture.
So.spare me all your bullshyt.
You were not cognitively round for these eras like that in actual fukk'n person.
If you were I would not be the only guy in here talking about this in full cultural honest good faith and true.
You are trying to spin job this in favor of you as a post do or die po pimp twista fan and it is an epic fail on a cultural level.
Just like twista has taken his lumps culturally for changing artistry and direction.
on top of this latest public lapse of judgement.

Stop stannin', breh.

what do you mean its meaningless? :heh: nikka he credited him for helping him write some of his music. That alone should nullify the use of the term ghostwriter in its traditional sense. It doesn't matter if he was unknown or not, he's listed in the credits. You and other nikkas not knowing who he was prior to Meek mill's tweet is your fault, not drake's. Look at the credits for TML, TC, and NWTS and you can clearly see that drake is not the only writer credited on some songs. Dude has been letting nikkas know. Youre really trying to blame drake for people giving him credit? drake cant control what people do and dont choose to look into. Plus, you have 0 proof that Drake didnt write all of his lyrics on CS or SFG, the projects that got him a deal and his initial fame, other than what nikkas on internet forums have alleged. Drake is well known for writing songs for other artists, thats all the proof i need that he's written the overwhelming majority of the music he's put out.

No one calling drake the best rapper of this generation was taken serious until after the ghostwriting allegations came out, and even then their opinions were only used to make drake look worse than he already did. Still, you have hip hop icons coming out of the woodworks saying that most nikkas have been using ghostwriters and that its nothing new in rap. If dudes like Diddy, who have been in the game for 25 years, know what it is and dont care if he didnt write a few hooks and like 3 8 bar verses, then it must not be that big of a deal; as much as you and other drake haters want it to be, its not, hence why he was still able to win the beef between him and meek mill, hence why he wasnt condemned by hip hop legends in bulk after word got out. If it had gotten out that he hadnt written a single thing in his entire catalog, then maybe he would of fallen off the way all of you hoped, but he didnt. Those without bias can see it for what it is, and your posts in damn near every drake thread just exemplify the fact that the majority of drake haters are just blinded by their hate for dude.

either way I just realized I really dont care how yall view the nikka, so ima let yall cook and slide out this thread :pachaha:

None of that has anything to do with you not liking that he changed his rap style without selling out. I don't care about your glory days memories not being upheld by your thoughts of what Twista should be. You are talking like he went commercial, he has the same subject matter as always and represents Chicago without question, so what is the beef other then not being what you want him to be? Check my rapsheet, I don't stan but you and your "back when I was doing it" lullaby's hold no weight here for a Chicago veteran that can be said in the same sentence as Kanye and Lupe. This ain't what you want, breh...you out your league here.

it shows :beli: and why :dahell: is this upped :martin: @hustlemania @TEKBEATZ @That Singer Guy... I see y'all now becoming with the shyts. I as well as others got REAL Hip Hop threads doing numbers and y'all upping bullshyt threads where cats not even taking the time to listen to the interview in the OP. Twista CLEARLY defined why he used verses written by other folks and cats are now really trying to question his standing as a Pioneer lyricist/artist. This is bullshyt :beli:
i have no idea what you're talking about, and i didnt sticky this thread.. :beli:

It's meaningless because you didn't know who QM was. He was just a random ass name until Meek gave the situation context.

So saying, "well, QM was credited on this track"....for what? A producer? A sound man? A guy that plays the keyboard?

You're telling me you knew he was writing Drake's shyt, prior to Meek?

NO.

So what are you saying here breh?

Listen, if the reference tracks wasn't a problem....if that info was out there, you just had to notice it....why did Drake's producer Tweet 30x in a row denying it?

Why did his boys call him up, talking about "Meek is trying to end your career with this shyt?"

Those were his words in The Fader interview. How are you gonna end someone's career with info that is already widely known? :dahell:

If you're comparing Drake to Diddy :manny: I got no beef with you. The problem is his fans were comparing him to Nas and Jay. And I dunno who you got me confused with, I never claimed Drake would stop selling records due to any of this. If Iggy Azalea, a white girl from Australia, can rap with a fake Southern accent and break sales records, Drake should be fine. I'm discussing his placement in rap....I never said shyt about "he needs to stop rapping", or should be ran out the rap game, or he would fall off.
