That's how you know this shyt isn't about the money or the music, just politics. How you gonna put Tyga on the backburner when he has Kanye on his project? They'll be able to print money with that shyt.
Print money?
Kanye being on the project (to whatever extent he is even actually involved) don't mean jack shyt if the actual records don't perform

....he actually hasn't had a single that really moved since Faded on the first album...I actually thought the 2nd album was put out too soon, all of the singles failed and the album flopped (and wasn't as good as the first one which was actually kinda dope)...this go around he hasn't dropped anything that heated him up any more than his last album cycle...from a label's point of view, there's absolutely nothing that would motivate them to release this album that's almost guaranteed to flop like the last one did, or treat it like a priority...not when he has Carter V and Nicki's album that currently has a top 5 hit record in queue ahead of him...there ain't many labels in existence where an act whose last album did like 50k just a year prior is gonna have his next project treated like a priority, especially when they have actual profitable acts signed...
cash money has pushed back albums from their marque artists for months and months at a time waiting until they felt they had the proper set up, but it's dirty politics involved because Tyga can't get an album with 0 buzz released quick enough for his liking ?
the way things work on cash money (and most other labels) seem to be simple, turn in a hit record...get a release date...they put out Hotel California without a decent performing single, i guess banking on him having a solid fanbase, and it flopped... in tyga's case, to me the obvious move would've been to get a track from mustard...it's not like he'd be just jumping on the trend dikkriding...Rack City helped put Mustard in the game...dude has been passing out hits left and right, why not go get one and gain some steam for the project
