In fact, in 22 of 250 U.S. metropolitan areas, women under the age of 30 earn the same amount as or more than their male counterparts, according to a new Pew Research Center analysis of Census Bureau data.
As we have seen by other graphs, neither men or women reach their financial peak before age 30. So even with this article we are literally talking a difference of less than $5000 a year in their "women best case scenario" if they were willing to break down the financials

the problem is that women "think" they are marrying down if they only qualify for men who make less than them...
but men dont rate women on how much money they make...
women are rated on looks and how good they can make a nikka feel, social etiquette, making life easier, etc.....
if a woman makes alot of money, but she aint got the traits men actually want...
then being with a lower earner isnt marrying down at all...
it's marrying at her level....
