Post whatever you got.
And breh why is it hard to understand that I'm talking about being against the narrative that Black men are lacking and incapable? I done said that in so many posts.

Problem is, cats want to talk out of both sides of their mouths. Don't want to be framed as lacking and incapable, esp compared to our women bc we know deep down its a bad look, but also don't want to have the responsibility and be held to the standard of living up to our role as men as providers.

STATS ON SINGLE MOTHERS:

HEALTH/SUCCESS OF CHILDREN:

"But according to their research, the IFS scholars note that there are tangible benefits to both white and black children from being raised in an intact, two-parent home. They found, for instance, that black young adults raised by their biological mother and father are more likely to graduate from college and less likely to be incarcerated than black young adults from non-intact homes. Meanwhile, black children and young adults raised in intact, two-parent families are more likely to be successful by each metric than their white peers raised in single-parent homes."

WOMEN'S HEALTH:

"Adults and children in single-parent households are at risk for adverse health outcomes, including mental illness (e.g., substance abuse, depression, suicide) and unhealthy behaviors (e.g., smoking, excessive alcohol use, food insecurity).1-4 Self-reported health has been shown to be worse among lone mothers than for mothers living as couples, even when controlling for socioeconomic characteristics.5 Mortality risk is also higher among lone parents.6 Children in single-parent households are at greater risk of severe morbidity and all-cause mortality than their peers in two-parent households.7"

"Married persons are known to have lower mortality and longer life expectancy (LE) than unmarried"

the women who go against their men in those cultures dont have a stronger voice than the ones who are in line...

white/latina women arent told that they cant trust their men growing up...

they are told to be careful... but they arent told that their men dont match up to them...

that isnt the main narrative like it is in our culture...
I had to stop right here this is one of the biggest bullshyt post I've ever seen:russ:

Hmmm.....

How any hispanic families are you close with?
Doesn't matter how many Hispanic families I know and you didn't just say Hispanic either lol what I know is in the least past 50 years there has been a steady rise of a movement primarily involving some women talking and advocating gender equality, addressing issues such as violence against women, reproductive rights, and equal opportunities, toxic masculinity who of which are primarily some men of their same race responsible for and being told by their demographic that in real life or online they're likely to experience violence by the men most close to them and how misandry annoys misogny kills and frequently express the notion in the news, articles, social media, and entertainment as running gags that men simply don't have enough emotional intelligence, empathy, and support for them so in the dating market.

It ain't just black women :russ: I have said it multiple times on here nikkas have got stop dikkriding other races:mjlol:

oh ok...

i thought you were using observation of actual families to form your opinion...

women across the board are less likely to "fall in line" with their men.. i concede that point...

but my original statement was that no other race of women do it "like" black women....

ie. it is nowhere near as prevalent and accepted....

especially in mexican or hispanic households (my statements apply to both)

EDIT: i'll just post a few studies that provides some data to support my point....

WHITE WOMEN COMPARED TO BLACK:

"To a large extent, women described caretaking as a positive, desirable aspect of their womanhood; however, this positive conceptualization of caretaking was more common for White women than Black women"

"Although many of the women described caretaking as including things they wanted and desired, participants also described some of the burdens of caretaking. Black women, more than White women, described the difficulties and challenges associated with this role."

"Although both Black and White women discussed positive and negative aspects of caretaking, White women spoke more about the gratifying aspects, whereas Black women spoke more about the associated challenges."

LATINA WOMEN AND GENDER ROLES/CULTURE:

"Latinas have additional burdens and expectations placed on them as women. They must adhere to the “female role” by caring for the household while also supplementing the low wages of their male counterparts"

"Studies have shown that in Mexican-American cultures the value of a woman has not been measured by her presence in the workforce. Being outside of the household prevents Latinas from fulfilling the gender expectation to care for the needs of their husbands and children."

"The frustrations experienced by Latinas as they try to live a successful Western lifestyle while also adhering to traditional expectations have been discussed in multiple studies"

As long as our women place a premium on physical traits and "swag", however you define it, to go with high earning men, this will always be an issue...
This. I seen everyone posting the black males making more than black females. That’s just the first requirement for them. Next is - Ok he makes more but is he “corny”? Is he boring etc.

Let’s not get so hung up on the $( yes i know that’s the premise of this thread ) but we also have to look deeper. Basically those females are looking for Mr.perfect , oh and be faithful to them lol

The funny thing about the whole “settling“ conversation is that if black men were as half as stringent as BW are the majority of them would be wiped out of the dating pool with ease.

Just setting a standard to not date any black woman with kids or any BW overweight literally erases 80 percent of the black female dating pool just like that :russ:(These are my basic standards)

Go on a dating app and put “no kids” and you’ll see about 70-80% of the women erased. (40% if you’re in a bigger city)

A lot of these degree/career-first women making 70-80K could find their mate, going by income and character/intentions. They just need to deal with the fact he'll be more Jordan Peele instead of Michael B Jordan.
