Personally I think advertising/marketing is the most neglected part of businesses most new entrepreneurs don't give though to yet it's the most important part. If no one knows you're product/service exists you can't make money.

Staples direct mail is an absolute gem for building a local mailing list. Let's say you want to open a beauty supply store and want to get the word out to every unmarried black woman with income $35-$50k within a particular zip code. This service will find your target market and mail the ad/post card etc for you.

This might work out better than Google Adwords for small start ups since you're going directly to your target instead of blindly paying for clicks. I believe Adwords has an average conversion rate of like 1%. Horrible, only person getting rich off that shyt is Google.

I never heard of this before. This is actually pretty cool. I know for real estate, marketing with physical mail is more effective than relying on online ads so this might come in handy.
