Its 2016 and people are still fake surprised by Joes actions :what: He's been the same dude for atleast 10 years.

I know what he's talking about and he could be completely wrong, but mostly I do notice that Joe likes to conveniently include himself around a hot topics and get casuals from here and there to notice him and hear his stance.

You can fool them other nikkas Joe, BUT NOT ME.

Joe'a mistake is trying to look for depth in music that has no substance or any respect for hip hop. This is why drake will never be considered great or ever put out a classic or respectable album. If you respect rap or hip hop, you will realize that drake is nothing more than a poser or fraud that's marketed to be something that he is not. That's why him on that sprite poster with nas and rakim was blasphemous. Drake is really another kid cudi getting respect he never worked for or deserves. I could never discuss this guy in a serious manner in regards to rap or hip hop.

I think drakes success is bad for hip hop. Dude has no respect for the culture. You can't strongarm or buy your way to respect.

the one thing i def agree with is someone has to come along and reprogram niggs that look to sales as the means to justify average records (50) and its going to take someone like drake to do that and when he puts out uninspiring records its doing a disservice to hiphop and its future.

Man I'm gonna cut this bullshyt off. Joe Budden sounds like a lunatic rambling about Jay sent Meek and all this other stupid shyt. If the reference tracks didn't exist in the first place there is no fuel for the beef. Did Jay make Drake use ghostwriters too?

And why is Budden yelling like he's cutting an 80's wrestling promo? :what:

Fred.
I agree with him and I said this when Meek first started sending shots. Hov told Meek to get at him

the way it happened makes me to think it was impulsive by Meek.
Nicki had just went on a rant on twitter herself and Meek started it not long after and everything after the revelation was just done poorly.

i could see Meek telling Jay about them and Jay giving him sort of advice about the right time to do it but certainly not the way Meek handled it.
when everything went down Jay was probably sitting in his office like

:snoop:

i can't see Jay co-signing that lack of preparation.

I don't think it was impulse because Meek never made a move like that before. He acted the complete opposite with Cassidy but why did he take the risk of going at Drake when his album just sold the highest of his career?

As soon as that shyt did numbers he said he was coming back with a new album. Exactly what he should've done but all of a sudden he's taking pics with Jay Z and instead of dropping the next album he focuses on dissing Drake. That made no sense and Drake and Hov were sending shots at each other before that, as soon as Meek started selling Hov was in his corner.

I understand why Meek dissed Drake but it was a move that Jay Z pulled with Takeover except the artist Meek was dissing was a couple levels above him

thats why i think he took the risk and dissed Drake...he was feeling himself.

he was free, he had Nicki, he had a No.1 album that was selling well, he had the streets, a crossover single, Roc Nation behind him..his stock was never higher AND he was sitting on "explosive" information and had proof to back it up.

like i said, i think Jay probably gave him some advice on what Meek was sitting on but Meek just winged it.
i just find it hard to believe he planned what he did, either that or he and Jay (if by what you're saying is true) really underestimated Drake.

I don't understand why people get so worked up. It's rap. Everyone gets a run and eventually falls off. These aren't basketball teams we're rooting for. They make art and it's up to us to figure out if we like it or not. I like the drake album but it is what it is. No need to try to decipher what's going on in his life. Just enjoy the fukking music and if you don't like it then listen to something else.
in a time where J cole, Kendrick and even Big Sean are putting out their best albums people expected the same for drake, when you have folks saying if you don't drop a classic it's a flop no matter how good it is the reception will be affected

Yeah I forgot about the Roc Nation link too. I just think Jay Z told that nikka "Get at him" or maybe Meek was thinking about it already

Just can't believe how unprepared that shyt was. So embarrassing, I hope Meek can recover though

yeah, it was poorly done and there might be that small lasting effect of embarrassment when it comes to him but Meek's biggest gift in all this is that he still has a lane that in terms of it having "stars" he has it all to himself. so if he hit's em over the head with good music he'll be alright.
