i definitely think he fell off hard as fukk...but it wasnt a fluke...signs was dope...unbreakable was VERY dope...

Signs was ok...don't know why it gets so much praise. The water weakness twist was absolutely horrible. Unbreakable was dope but the twist shyt was played out by that point and I knew Sam Jackson was the bad guy the moment I saw him. Kinda ruined the movie for me.

1st Will Smith is Critic Proof. Both Bad Boys films got killed by the critics, so did "Hancock" and a few other Will Movies. 2nd people hate on Jaden for his dad putting him on but there is a deeper hatred. It's the fact that a Black Man is doing this. When White people put on their kids like Drew Barrymore, Charlie Sheen, Nicolas Cage or Angelina Jolie, nobody says shyt. But Will does it and people want to bash. The Reviews have to do with the fact the Critics just hate M. Knight.

It wasn't always hate, they loved him early on but it started around "The Village". "Lady in the Water, The Happening and The Last Airbender" didn't help matters. It reminds me of Michael Bay. When critics hate you, they all ban together. So Will nor Jaden could save the bad reviews cause M. Knight is polarizing. Lastly I find it odd that a Big Summer Blockbuster Sci Fi movie finally starting a mostly Black or minority cast and all the critics are bashing it to death. No film this summer has more diversity outside of maybe "Fast 6" than "After Earth". Support it guys. Also I'm not buying the "Scientology" rumors. The movie if anything is like "Avatar" cause it promotions saving the environment.

Actually his only real flop was "Lady in the Water". "The Happening" and "The Last Airbender" made their money back. The reason Will wanted to work with M. Knight is cause even though M. Knight is from India originally, he's actually a Philadelphia Native like Will.

M. Knight is garbage, his movies always look good, and are generally well directed, but ever since I walked out of 'Signs' in 2002 disgusted as a 16 year old could be, I felt like I waited a lifetime for that movie and those illl trailers...I was heated lol, he has just steadily got worse, he bottomed out with 'The Happening', in my opinion, that shyt was just horrific. Only redeeming for the laugh value.

'The Sixth Sense' and 'Unbreakable' were dope as fukk, but I think his ego got the better of him, and he went off the deep end. And I saw 'Devil' in the theaters, nah that is not a good movie, it is cliche, hackneyed, and sans one or two surprises, very predictable.
