Mind over matter. I know some people who only eat once every 3 days And are completely healthy. I'm now a vegan. My stomach won't allow me to eat what I used to eat if I tried. My diet was a lifestyle change. I've never felt more connected than now. I read a lot about food nutrition and the industries. I'm a dude from the island that was raise on the land. Ate mangoes, coconuts and all types of berries and fruits. A lot of these so called foods we eat today, was around 150 years ago. I'm not going to down anyone who eats meat tho, everybody's diet ain't for everyone. I meditate a lot. when I was eating meat 1.5 years ago I was 275 and sick . Just got off the scale and I'm 214 And healthy. Just eating good won't help you though, that where a lot of people mess up. If your environment around you is stressful, then you could still very well end up with the same type of problems.

Different diets are also good for different genetic types. What's good for one isn't always good for all.

There are some universals though. Everyone on Earth's body responds positively to fruits and vegetables. Ideally these should be the majority of what we eat.

Grains can be good depending on the portions and what they're combined with within the meal. Meat is completely unnecessary but won't kill you as long as you don't overdo it.

Just eat a balanced diet, drinks lots of water, get some movement, and keep your stress levels down and you can live a long healthy life.

The only thing about claiming that ending eating meat was the key is that it lacks the context of what else did you stop eating because of that. I'm willing to bet that a lot of fried food and simple carbs left with the lack of meat.

I'm not calling anyone out but there is some context there that might get overlooked.

True. Meat alone won't do one good if their diet is poor. A lot of vegans eats a lot of Starch foods to compensate for the lack of texture or to fill them up which ain't good either. When I took meat out of my diet, I started to feel changes and that made me look into everything else I was eating. Now I'm at the point that I won't eat anything that's not organic or made by my hands. No dairy or can goods. So for me letting go of meat was the key. I feel better, look better , think KNOW better.

That's true some people eat according to their lifestyles. It all depends on who you want to be and how you see yourself. Me 2 years ago is a completely different person financially, physically and Intellectually. I have no stress. I have no problems, no concerns. Cutting meat did not do that alone, but it was a decision that lead me to see all else I was doing wrong.
