Why you mad at me?Because you're a fairy. Why you mad at me?

I feel that. Smart is a point guard right? Most laker fans were not thinking that they would end up with the 7th pick, so obviously they didn't want marcus smart at the time.

He'd be the best point guard the Lakers had since Nick Van Exel. How do y'all feel about Mark Jackson? Seems like he'd be the perfect coach. Y'all sign him as the coach and sign Z-BO and Stack Jack and some tough ass veterans that can win games by punking teams and striking fear in them and y'all get that 7th or 8th seed. Tanking another season is not the answer.Yeah. I'd have no problem taking him now knowing where we are picking.
Smart is longer (pause) and a better defender. He also attacks the rim better. Smart is more of a sure thing, imo.

Smart ceiling is alot higher than a poorman's Baron Davis. way stronger. already a better defender than Baron was.A 6'3 two guard with subpar athleticism and jump shot, I'm sure he'll be such a great NBA starter
Lavine may be frail and a weak defender, but he actually fits as a two guard on a NBA team.
Even if he never becomes a good defender, he'll likely get stronger and he has range with elite athleticism.
Smart's best case scenario is a poorman's Baron Davis w/o the explosiveness, while Lavine can become a shorter more athletic version of Klay Thompson.
Lavine may never live up to his potential, but he has a jumper and athleticism, something that is rare to find in NBA wings(especially young players). Let's say he doesn't fit in LA, you can always put him in a package to acquire a Al Horford or Demarcus Cousins in the coming years. In the NBA, you always draft the player with the most upside, word to the Magic drafting Dwight(high upside) over Emeka(sure thing).
