after marinating on that Cyberpunk ending, I think its a 10/10 level show for me. If not then a 9. There's just a lot to unpack about it in just 10 episodes and David & Lucy were such a great emotional core for that story. I feel the need to watch something exaggeratedly happy after that.

Also watched the preview trailers for the Urusei Yatsura remake. The animation looks very inspired, which is unexpected for what could easily be a bare minimum cash grab off a celebrated franchise. If you don't know its by the same creator of Inuyasha/Ranma/Maison Ikkoku. If nothing else Rumiko Takahashi is a comedic genius and this is one of her best works to that end.

most interesting thing about it to me is it has a harem-like set up, but it's almost spiteful to the concept. The MC Ataru subverts the usual innocent shy nice guy by being an absolute jackass who nobody likes (including his own parents who shyt on him regularly) except for like one person, and it's for the most insignificant of reasons. The set up makes for some great comedy, I expect it to be one of the funniest shows of the year if the adaptation is good.

Wasn't expecting blue lock to be a full on battle royale and the animation is so crisp. Feels like the premise is kinda the opposite of Ao Ashi whereas in Ao Ashi its a selfish striker learning to become more of a team player. Then in Blue Lock you have a striker that is a team player that is going to learn to become selfish. Anyways, hope not too many comparisons because vastly different shows even though they focus on same sport.

Yeah I still think about the Cyberpunk ending. I can’t get that song out of my head.

Pretty decent season of anime so far. Really feeling that Shinobi joint as far as new anime goes. That shyt got potential. Ditto for Blue Lock. Plus can't forget about Reincarnated as a sword. That shyt goes hard too.

MHA, Golden Kamuy, and Spy Family all came back to hold it down.

That Strong Farmer anime is slightly above mid on every level. But they did a REALLY good job showing that he wasn't the be all and end all in that world early.
Most shows like this (damn near all) will have the hero be so overpowered that they attempt to make it a shock late in the show when someone that can actually challenge him/her comes along. If they show it at all.

2nd episode of Gundam was cool. Do feel bad for Suletta just getting put into one dual after another. Mirone's character seems at least a little likable after this episode since she didn't leave Suletta to get screwed. But man her father is a much bigger a$$hole then I would have thought.

Also watched the first episode of More Then a Married Couple, but Not Lovers. This seems like a weird rom-com. Basically hs students get paired together to practice being a couple. Of course the beta dude ends up with the gyaru girl. And his childhood friend ends up with the handsome guy.

Show could of went the wholesome route, but instead it will be comedy and entertaining. If you are looking for a rom-com this might be worth a try, but this involves heavy love triangle dynamic based on the first episode.

Figured I’d watch Made in Abyss since I got this free trial of Hidive.

Is it like Ranking of Kings where it looks cute and is hella wild? Is it even more violent?

Just finished episode one and that song at the end is just beautiful.

:mjcry: :mjcry:

Imma watch it just off that.
