after marinating on that Cyberpunk ending, I think its a 10/10 level show for me. If not then a 9. There's just a lot to unpack about it in just 10 episodes and David & Lucy were such a great emotional core for that story. I feel the need to watch something exaggeratedly happy after that.
Also watched the preview trailers for the Urusei Yatsura remake. The animation looks very inspired, which is unexpected for what could easily be a bare minimum cash grab off a celebrated franchise. If you don't know its by the same creator of Inuyasha/Ranma/Maison Ikkoku. If nothing else Rumiko Takahashi is a comedic genius and this is one of her best works to that end.
most interesting thing about it to me is it has a harem-like set up, but it's almost spiteful to the concept. The MC Ataru subverts the usual innocent shy nice guy by being an absolute jackass who nobody likes (including his own parents who shyt on him regularly) except for like one person, and it's for the most insignificant of reasons. The set up makes for some great comedy, I expect it to be one of the funniest shows of the year if the adaptation is good.
